There is a new indoor RC Venue opened up in Ossett near Wakefield, 2 minutes from junction 40 of the M1. They currently have a permanent oval and on road track (both carpet) set up and have just purchased the adjacent unit to expand in the coming months. This place is epic with a huge pit area with electrics as well as an onsite cafe serving hot and cold food. They are open: Tuesday: 11am - 10pm Wednesday: 6pm - 10pm Thursday: 11am - 10pm Friday: 11am - 10pm Saturday: 10am - 10pm Sunday: 10am - 5pm They currently have race meets for GT12, LMP, 1/10th Touring, Mardave and Kamtec hotrods and Minis and Bangers. Truck racing and M Chassis racing starts in the next couple of weeks. The council flattened the existing jumps due to concerns of anti social behaviour from the cyclists down there. They would probably do the same to anything we built. Mom looking at a more permanent piece of land just for us so watch this space

The summer GT12 season starts at Demon raceway this evening (the 19th) at NRD northern race and drift, Tasman Street Wakefield. Minimum 4 qualifying rounds and then the race.

Demon models in Wakefield is hosting it’s 3rd bashing meetup on the 1st ofJuly. the last two have been a great success and the big kicker that made its deput at the 2nd meet will be back again. Hope to see you there
