Thanks mate, i did hear that one company made one that is identical to the rex x but is still available. think it might be the hunter. also i know what the needles do but not how to set them up, so il get youtubing them now

the engine in the car isnt the standard engine. When it cuts out it drops the revs, but if i push it up gently to get it to the top speed it is fine, just takes a while. SH .28 HSN - 3 turns out LSN - 3 turns out IDLE 1mm open No idea what that means though

it smokes alot when driving. I will make it smoke some more when ideling then if thats what it needs. But how do i stop it cutting out when full throttling it?

Brake cleaner is fine to use on anything electrical as it just evaporates. Where i used to work we used it all the time on all electrical things we build (we did power and distribution)

Mine looks like that yea, apart from it has a sh engine on it, well both of them do. I finally got it going last night, but cant get the thing tuned as i have no idea what im doing, although i stopped the smoke in idel, but when i put it to full throttle it cuts out.

Hi guys. I have recently got my rex x going again after 2.5 years of not running it. I have got it going, its a tad smokey, and if full throttle cuts out, but it actually runs after 3 days of messing about (no idea how to make it run nice though) I will need to get a new case for it, and not sure where to get it, but im happy it runs now.

the way i prime mine is to take the pipe from the exhaust and blow down that until the fuel gets to the engine. much easier than finger over the exhaust.

apparently i can use parts from a different car. Only issue is starting it now. I can get it running, it started last night and then died, and wont start now.

My only concern is if i break it and then cant find parts then what do i do?

The problem is that it only needs little bits like the battery and receiver parts, and it all runs nice. Im guessing i won't get

Hi guys. I am new here, hope to see more of you. I have 2 rex x cars, one working and one needing a pull start on them. i have been told the best thing to do is sell these and get a new one as you cant get parts. The only problem is I then won't have a car, and can only afford what i will get from the cars. Both cars have a sh engine in them. I am after some advise here. Would i be best off selling them and getting some money, strip them down and sell the parts or hang onto them? Thanks ATR
