  1. It depends on what you're swapping and what condition it's in. The T-Maxx, being as it's a Traxxas, is one of the easiest trucks to get parts for and has strong aftermarket support.
  2. Why would they make a musk sticker? I'm assuming it's scratch and sniff, mine were always a fruit scent when I was younger.
  3. The "Ugly Truckling" by Rolex on RCNT,
  4. If you stick with the glow ignitor, you can also remove the yellow wire next time you're wrenching.
  5. Yeah, me too. The cutout wasn't only for cooling though, it also allowed easy access to my roll bar that I used as a carry handle before getting the wing. I haven't run the .32 yet, but I needed all the help I could get when I was running the 454 during summer in the states. Thanks, I look forward to getting the break in finished, hopefully I'll be able to get the first couple of tanks through it tomorrow and hopefully be finished by this weekend. I'm really looking forward to getting my ERCM pipe, hopefully it lives up to the hype. If it does, I'll have to order a truggy version for my Tamiya 801XT and a couple small block versions for my Traxxas trucks. The one being made should be similar to this one,
  6. Now I just need to put some fuel through it, hopefully I'll be able to get it started tomorrow and finished by this weekend.
  7. Engine showed up today, hopefully I can start breaking it in this weekend. I also ordered an ERCM pipe, they're made to order so hopefully it won't take too long. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  8. You'll also need a LVC or voltage alarm to let you know when the voltage gets too low. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  9. As long as they fit and your servos can handle the higher voltage. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks man. I took it out today and my HSN was leaning itself out, quick fix though, I ordered a LRP .32. Now I'll order a new carb for the 454 and throw it in my Tamiya 801XT (if I ever build it).
  11. Here are a few pics of mine, Here it is right after I installed the Losi shocks (disregard the rx box, it didn't last too long) Here it is a couple years ago, left is the Rusty and right is the Nitro Sport. This is just last weekend, it ended with a stripped spur gear after about 6 (back to back) tanks.
  12. I've got a Nitro Rusty and I love it. I've got RPM arms and shock towers, T-Bone bumpers, Losi SCT shocks and a 3.3, I also lucked out and found a New Era roll bar for it. To handle the extra power of the 3.3, I put in a steel idler gear and the HD drive shafts from a Nitro Slash. I had a 2.5 in it and it was fine, I will probably end up getting another 2.5 for my second Rusty that I'm throwing together with spare parts. Post up some pictures of your.
  13. +1 to this, they do look good but don't protect your engine. I'd only use it while stored on the shelf.
  14. I picked up a new steering servo, a Hitec HS-7950TH will replace my HSR-5990TG that stopped working. I also ordered a couple standard HV servos for my T/B and shift, this will aloo me to run a 2s rx pack and have the full 35kg/cm (486 in/oz) of torque. I'm going to contact Hitec and see if they can repair the 5990TG, it's an old discontinued robot servo though so I'm not sure if they can/will.
  15. Nope. If you're looking for a stronger "stock" driveshaft get the 6852X, they're the stock HD rear shafts from the Slash 4x4 and drop right in. I've put them on my 3.3 powered Rustler and they held up for a year, the stock one would die on me almost every time out.
  16. +1 I kept losing drive to the front of my M8 and it was the front grub screw. I ended up having to take the drive cup out and clean it and the screw before putting it back together with thread lock. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  17. I was wondering the same thing, they look the same to me.
  18. Mounted up my bumpers, now I'm just waiting on some shims for my diffs and then I can get it started. I'm going to be running 20000 in the rear and 15000 in the front with TiNi ring and pinion and some IRC cups, I'll have to get some pics of the IRC diff cups. I'm really hoping to get the shims before this weekend, I'd like to run it at the BHBF.
  19. Savox servos are known for being power hungry, sometimes it's just a certain combo. Here's a note that Amain has on all Savox servo pages, "Certain combinations of receiver and ESC have been found to cause "Brown Out" issues when combined with Savox servos." Maybe the new rx can't handle the power draw of the steering servo. Have you tried the throttle servo in the steering ch of the rx, or a glitch buster/capacitor?
  20. I'm running the stock shocks and fluid with RC Raven dual rate springs. I've got a set of the HD anodized alloy shocks and TiNi shafts that I'm going to be building. I've also got some sets of Losi's yellow and black springs on the way along with some other weight oils, I plan on playing around with a few different combos.
  21. +1 to this, when I worked at a shop that was our first bit of advice on all Traxxas models...for some reason they like to send them out loose.
  22. I'm pretty sure you have to get the individual parts. You can download the manual from Losi's site if you need it.
  23. How's this buggy treating you, you ever get those lipos?
