Thought it would be good to get a thread going on this issue as a lot of you out there are having faulty lipos catching fire and ruining your rc, s this is not good and certainly not a cheap hobby to maintain, maybe like me some people are relatively new to rc, s and are not looking after lipos, but even more experienced rc enthusiasts are seeing there hard earned money going up in smoke, . Lipos are quite popular these days and personally I think people are trying to cash in on our honesty and hard earned rc, s by selling us cheap , faulty and dangerous lipos, hence this thread, be nice for future reference and purchases if we know about dodgy packs. Let others know if you had a bad pack, name of manufacturer, size and power of battery ect Could be interesting reading and a good reference point for us all.

Live in west sussex ( chichester ) desperately trying to find somewhere nice to play, maybe meet up with others. Far too much private farm land ( give us an acre giles ) . There is also tangmere airfield but thats just a mass of flat tarmac ( nice for speed runs ).; anyone out there got any suggestions for chichester or close by thats good for a bash. Thanks peeps.

No not ego .lol front right shock snapped off, sorry to dissapoint , nothing major but bad enough for a 1st run and the price it costs

Broke a shock on first run of truggy today, half trigger, such a lame roll into a turn, snapped like a twig, any ideas on good replacements

As you may have read in previous topics recently posted, I broke a shock on first run of my long awaited truggy flux, very sad but not surprised from what ive heard. Im new to this truggy and would like some decent shocks upgrade if anyone out there can help me.

First run of brand new hpi truggy flux , didnt even run the lipos down , was on grass not even half trigger and it cartwheeled and rolled during a turn, the bottom of front right shock snapped off completely. Gutted. Waited a long time for this model. Saved hard.

Thanks guys I did wonder about motor temps, is there any heat sink for motor, . And im using ansmann xbase 2.0 deluxe ive been told not to discharge all the way and always leave some charge in lipos. All very tecky but will get used to it all. Race hard live long

Hi peeps Apologies for being a proper newbie with some very lame questions. I have used brushless before, and have just picked up my truggy flux from RCGEEKS thanks again guys for top service and value. 1st question Do I have to bind transmitter with receiver , nothing quoted in manuals about this. 2nd question Should I have recieved a programme card for esc or is this bought seperately? Ive been told to thread lock my pinion grub screw and tighten wheel nuts before 1st run, valuable info anymore tips like this would be greatfully appreciated, we were all newbies to this truggy once.
