  1. the nb16 is made by acme the same make as the ones you were looking at nitrotek. dont know anything about the schumacher but these models are 1/18 and are very small chris
  2. my very first rc car was one of their condor pro 1/10 scale off road buggys. i very nearly gave up the sport due to its unreliability. plastic exhaust which melted petrol tank to close to the clutch bell so any small bump at the front put a hole in the tank (3 tanks i went through) very weak diffs. the engine was ok it was a team infinity .18 but was basicaly to powerful for the gear train. all solid bearings which wore out very quickly.i could go on and on,so i cant realy say anthing positive about this buggy. so my advice is steer well clear. the rush is a far superior model and ideal as a starter. hope this helps chris
  3. spare glow plug and spanner would be a good start chris
  4. hi guys just wondering what grade silicone is best to use in an mp777 sp1. i dont race just for bashing about but i broke both front shockers this morning on a jump and was wondering if i put a thicker oil in and harder springs would it give me a better landing as it just seemed to bottom out every time . i have the standard blue springs on at the moment and 600 oil. any help would be appreciated. chris
  5. hi all went down to the yeadon bmx track this morning. there was a couple of other lads there i knew. lasted about an hour when i took the the first hump to fast hit the second one face first and broke both front shockers. one of the other lads also bent his rear drive shaft on the same hump.still never mind only £7.68 for new shock shafts for the 777. shame modelsport dont supply for kyosho as there only round the corner. hoping to go there again next weekend so i might meet some of you lot there. do any of you ever go to the all weather pitch oposite the comet and currys stores at guiseley, ive been there a few times and it a good place to get some speed up. chris
  6. i got one of those garden weed sprayers from focus put in warm soapy water pump it up and blast off all the dirt. then i use the compressor to dry it spay it with wd40 and its gleaming. its realy easy to use you can direct the water away from the electrics etc. and if you pump the pressure up high you can realy blast off the dirt even in the hard to reach parts. it takes about 5 mins to do. chris
  7. sound like you need to get some onroad tyres. what sort of buggy do you have chris
  8. contacting the council seems like a good idea im sure there must be somewhere in leeds that we can make into a good track. i think that the best idea is to get a list of people who would want to use it. if there is only 10-15 of us i dont think the council will help, but if we can get a lot of possible members im sure that we can pressure them into listening. i have at least 4 possible members if everyone can list how many people they know who would become a members im sure we could get together a loads of candidates. also if anybody is a member of any other forums might be a good idea to post details on there. is there anyone that has any experience with setting up a club. do you need a licence etc? to do this properly its going to take a lot of time and dedication. will the guys at modelsport uk in otley help out, this has got to be a good busines promotion for them. it realy would be great to get this up and running. im sure that there is a lot of people in west yorkshire that would love this sport if they had a proper place to go and meet people with the same interests. you never know we may even be able to hold the national races after a time. so come on lads lets get our heads together and get this sorted. chris
  9. has anybody got any nearer to sorting out some sort of rc club inthe leeds area yet chris
