  1. yes well wen i turn on the batts they dont get hot or anything, and also wen i turn the batts on the red light for the failsafe comes on so the power is getting there. it seems like i have done something to the receiver because the power gets there (i think) but doesnt go out to the servos. the weird thing is, when i onpend up the receiver box, it was dry as a bone with no sign of moisture. i did spray the switch with CRC and blow it with air as well so could the switch be the problem. p.s. when i turn everything on the steering servo glitches so it must be getting some sort of power to the servos.
  2. hey guys today i gave my x-terminator wash up ready for sale. i spray the electrics with CRC and quickly blew them off with an air compressor. i installed them and turned them on, they worked fine for about 15 seconds and now nothing will work at all. i have pulled the servos apart and hit the with the hair dryer to dry any liquid that may be in their, but that didnt work. i have replaced the batts to no avail. and i have tried a new servo and that wont even work. i am completely stumped on this one. any help is greatly appreciated.
  3. cant get FG/s over here in aus, and i dont like the look of them anyway. i think i am pretty set on the Hyper 8.
  4. bit outta my price range though the losi 8ight buggy is %900 over here and i can get the Hyper 8 for $700 reduced from $850. and the Hyper 7 .28 model is $500.
  5. well lets say on a not to bumpy but not entirely smooth track then.
  6. he says its not his money hes wasting, in other words if he was buying it he would think he was wasting his money.
  7. hey guys me and swatz are having a disagreement. ok say we have a losi 8ight buggy and a losi 8ight truggy, two top of the line cars for their class. ow if we put the same engine in them and run the same gearing ok. swatz is saying that the Truggy will be faster than the Buggy around the same track with the same driver. what does everyone think of this. i personally think the buggy will kick the truggy because it is lighter, more nippy and more nimble so it will haul around the track faster.
  8. yes truggies are a mixture of both but no way in hell they will be the fastest. they are heavier than a buggy and a buggy will be more nippy and nimble over jumps. yes if i had the money i would be geting a Losi 8ight Truggy. but i dont have that money and the hyper 8 seems to be plenty tough enough for bashing. and after i save some more money up i can get some hopups to make the hyper stronger and put a faster engine in it and it we be awesome then
  9. hey im also going to get a receiver battery pack for the car. what fits the Hyper 8; a stick pack or a hump?
  10. ok kewl. thanks guys, i think that i will be investing in a new Hyper 8 in the future
  11. also you have to take into account that at the moment i have a carppy XTM XT2 with a Force .21 Engine. so im thinking that the Hyper 8 should be a fair upgrade speed wise and also more durable?
  12. yes i have alredy done the which truggy thread to choose from aswell. all the cars have their good and bad points, the hyper 7 or 8 is quick turning, fairly fast and fairly tough. the Savage X 4.6 is really tough, fairly fast, but does not trun well and is no the easiest to work on. the truggies like hyper ST and LSP RTR, yes they are fairly tough, but they also lack in the speed department.
  13. lol. the only reason i make so many is because i always browse many cars to choose what will get me the most out of my money.
