  1. Hi guys, i have a hubsan x4 that was my first quad but I'm now fairly confident in flying it indoors. i now want somthing that I can use outside and learn with. I was thinking of a 250 racer but I'm open to opinion. now I've seen walkera runners and echines that seem o.k. I was wondering if one of these would be suitable for me or maybe a kit from eBay? the kits are much cheaper but I have no idea if they are any good. Any ideas what I should do?

    Hpi vorza

All I've just tried to charge the swollen battery and unfortunately I think a cell has failed. So this will now only come with 1 65C battery. Well unless you want to try it of course.

The spectrum can tell you the rpm but I have never used it. Don't think the telemetry is the best on these. Sorry I'm selling as a job lot.

    Hpi vorza

Hi guys, I'm selling my hpi vorza. It's been used for bashing but always repaired when required. Always replaced with new parts. I'm selling this as a job lot
  7. Already sorted mate. I have lipos and charger for the vorza.
  8. Ok cool, let's hope it lasts longer than the 1800 nimh
  9. So I've been searching high and low for a good battery. It's been hard to find one in the uk that will actually fit. I think this will do the job, any feed back on this? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__34279__Turnigy_nano_tech_3300mah_2S_25_50C_Lipo_Pack_UK_Warehouse_.html
  10. Yeah I have made that mistake before
  11. Yeah lipos are not a problem charging wise. I'll check out if the esc can handle lipos. I'll get searching on hobby king to see what I can find. Thanks
  12. I think I read some where that it is lipo 2s ready. I'll have to check it out. I'll also have to ensure it fits as there isn't much room. 40mins sounds much better. I was well diaponited with the short run time.
  13. The most disappointing bit is the battery life. I'm getting less than ten mins probably close to 5 on a hard run. Would lipos be a good option for this car if so should they last longer?
  14. Yes it's the vaughn mustang. What's it like to drift, that's hard to answer as I've never driven a drifter before. It's very rear end happy and easy to hold sideways. I find it easy to drift but hard to control the drift the way I want it to go. I probably just need some practice. The rear wheels spin up real easy, it seems to have plenty of low down grunt. First impressions are good but I'm no expert It came with a set of grip wheels that I haven't tried.
  15. Thanks waz I'll have a look. I've not had chance to run it yet other than in a tight space indoors
  16. Hi guys, I use a imax 6 to charge my lipos. I seem to have this Sussed thanks to advice from you guys. I have just brought another rc and it has come with a plasma 7.2v 1800mah NiMh battery and a fast charger. The fast charger doesn't look the best (very basic) and I was wondering if I should use my imax b6? If the fast charger is adequate I'll stick with that I suppose. I tried to set it up but I have no idea on the best charge current. I also don't really know if this just cuts out like it does on lipos when fully charged.
  17. Hi guys, As you maybe aware ive been looking for a cheap rtr drifter so I can give drifting a go. I've brought a hpi sprint sport 2 rtr. I've not managed to run it properly due to the rubbish weather. I was wondering if there anything I should do or any upgrades that would be worth buying to make this into a good drifter? Or is this car ok as it is? Thanks
  18. Ok thanks. I'm changing it as I found that it seems to be putting too much power to the rear. Seems to over steer to easy. I'm trying to calm this down if I can. It also spins out on hard straight acceleration. This could also be down to 6s? Hopefully doing this will sort it out, or at best calm it down. I've stripped it down to the bare chassis today. This week I intend on rebuilding it and servicing what I can. Including the bent rear prop shaft that I knackered the other day.
  19. I've just found this http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/150123-what-do-these-all-mean-in-shock-diif-oil-terms/ It made it simpler to understand ( for me ) if anyone is interested.
