  1. Got one of these myself and now wouldn't be without one . Does struggle with the thicker gauge wire though as its pointed solder tip

Yes that's correct. I'm not familiar with that setup myself but one thing to bear in mind is all tanks have a coil, this is the part that vapourises the liquid and depending on how much you use the device, will need replacing or rebuilding(depending on the type of tank). I'm sure rawwalker666 will help you with that. as for where to get the liquid from that's up to you pal. The other reason I started vaping is smoking was expensive so I liked buying cheaper liqids(£3 a 10ml bottle) to satisfy my wallet lol. As suggested though just buy a few 10ml bottles till you find a flavour you like.

You won't find any e liquid with nicotine normally on Amazon/eBay as I believe it's against the rules. Once you settle on a flavour always keep an extra bottle as there's nothing worse than running out of juice lol

I can imagine the sheer amount of vaping products available today would be daunting for a newbie. Theres three main parts to each vaping device..... the mod..... The bit you press for the vapour. These range in power and types of power. batteries.... These are kept in the mod an can be built in or interchangeable. Normally if they're built in it will say in the product description what mah they are. the tank....'the bit you put your mouth arount' from rda, rta ect there's a lot to choose from. This is where the ejuice is put in, vapourised and inhaled. i too like rover man came off the fags on to these and couldn't for the life of me understand why you'd want to smoke something that tastes of rhubarb and custard ect.... So bought an amber leaf flavour for over a year from ezee-quit.co.uk but now I cape nothing but fruity flavours...mainly vimto lol
  7. Yeah that's what I meant. Will probably end up trying this when I get round to purchasing an mt. ...... I may even try implementing it on the blackout, that has a turning circle of double decker!!
  8. Very nice mod how much bigger is it compared to stock?
  9. The only place big enough and where you wouldn't be a nuisance to anyone that I can think of is the far end of wreake valley field. Make sure to do some vids
  10. Not really. This is a fail safe . What you need is a killswitch. A fail safe returns the servos to a preset position in the event of low voltage or interference, a killswitch allows you to kill the engine remotely via a 3rd channel on you transmitter. Personally I wouldn't run a 5th scale without one.

Very nice! What's your initial thoughts on the theroem?
  13. Do it my diff cups seem to be holding up ok. Since I put the obr in I have managed to lose two dog pins( both times front left) if it continues I'll try making the groove a little deeper. A 5ive is defo my next addition to the fleet. That zorst has been sat on the shelf for far too long! Mine will be a losi though. Not because of the whole clone crap( I own a km btw) but because of the paint scheme I have in mind.
  14. Yep blackouts are a lot of fun, but I still want a 5ive. I've had a 5ive bzm pipe for nearly three years now!...... Just no 5ive lol
  15. That Reminds me, the tyres need belting and the diffs need some thicker oil.
  16. I have no clue tbh tug lol. From house to shed is 6mm armoured cable, can't remember off the top of my head what I used on the plug circuit. Current breaker is 16a and shall be replaced with a 40a which is the same as the main breaker in the consumer unit in the shed. might take 2 inch off the height of the heat box as well to speed up the process further.
  17. It hasn't yet lol. i attempted it last year but the 2x 2kw heaters weren't up to the the job of getting the lexan up to temp, probably because I opted for 1.5 mm lexan . Also after about 10-15mins of being on the heaters kept tripping the shed breaker. Now have a higher rated breaker just need to get some more heaters before I attempt it again.
  18. Not much been going on with the the truck itself but plenty going on for it on the 3D printer. Esc tray is done and so is the beadlocks. things to do- mount the motor mount the esc wiring bodyshell
  19. This years may BHBF was its first run out since and the tranny problems have gone and the belt drive system is working great. Did snap a hub pin and lost a dog bone pin but was nothing that I couldn't sort there. The obr is performing great, not only was this heavy lump keeping up with the 5ive's, dbxl's ect. It was also overtaking them too
  20. Well after after a lot of transmission problems at augusts BHBF last year I started to fall out with this truck. It burned through two clutches in as many tanks but I couldn't for the life of me work out what the problem was. I'd read that the plastic transmission plate could be a possible cause for my problems as it warps from the heat of the motor so I ordered the aluminium tranny plate and brake mount. I also hit the buy button a belt drive system that I've had my eye on for a while. before pics... After pics... when I was installing the new brake mount I finally found the source of the problems, a dodgy bloody layshaft!!!! So swapped it out for the spare one.
  21. 20 beadlocks = 160 hours print time think I have a bust bed bearing too as its leaving black residue on the rod
  22. Thanks for the heads up about the prog box k.nov Tried connecting the esc to the laptop but couldn't get it to connect in Windows 8. I bought the prog box but haven't used it yet. When the time comes I shall give it another try on the laptop which now runs Windows 10.
