  1. i have been offered 120 for the hyper but thought it was a little low but looks like it may be about right
  2. i hoping somebody can help, i am looking to sell my HPI Savage 4.6, only change to stock is steel spur gear/clutch bell and some Trencher x's and my near new Hyper 7 TQ2 which is completly stock and only had about 10-15 tanks use. The hyper 7 is spotless with no scratches on the bottom at all. Savage has no damage and it good clean condition. i know its hard without pictures but can i get a rough idea on what these would go for while shifting them quickly. Thanks
  3. I got a new one way bearing a little while ago as my last one was slipping, only been out a couple times since and the pullstart would not go back in. Took pull start off and it shot back in, the little rollers inside the one way bearing had all came appart, probably a cheap OWB. Can anbody point me in the right direction to the little inserts you can get to go into the original OWN saves burying the whole lot again? cant find them as not sure what its called. CHEERS
  4. cheers for the replies guys!
  5. Could i get away with using 25% Byron race fuel with the engine in Kyosho DBX 1.0 it has the GXR-18 engine. Cheers
  6. when you are leaning the LSN you will normally need to change the Idle screw to balance it out.
  7. if its just stock it will have two gears. the clutch bell may have been stripped when the spur gear was loose/came off or the mesh may have been too tight
  8. The spur gear being loose is what stopped me getting it tuned properly, didnt realise untill it spun off completly. Made a massive difference once tightened up, tuning was alot easier and it hit second gear all the time.
  9. Thanks for all your help, it makes alot of sense now. when he tests the steering it is stationary and he reversed steering so "left" went "left" but as you have explained it needs to be the other way round otherwise it will seem reversed when driving. Cheers all
  10. it could be a number of things or even a combination. I had these issues with my savage untill i had all the following spot on. Make sure the slipper clutch is not too loose making the spur gear "slip" instead of giving you the right amount of speed for it to make the gear change You will need to make sure its tuned enough for it to gain enough speed It sounds like the spur gear may also need changing if the teeth are looking a bit chewed up you can also change the timing between the gear changes but i would do everything else first before altering it as you may not be getting your top speed.
  11. Thanks for your replies, he said when he is accelarating he turns "right" to make the bike go left, from what your saying this is what it should do I will pass on your info, hopefully it will make more sense to him as i have no clue with these bikes Cheers!
  12. Hi All, My brother has just got a second hand "M5" and the steering is fine unless it is accelerating at the same time and then the steering gets reversed. i have no experience with electric RC so was hoping somebody could help? Cheers
  13. well still waiting on these parts, althought the website doesnt state this their stock levels include their suplliers warehouse aswell so they dont recieve the parts untill 10-14 days later. would have just ordered them seperatly if i known.
  14. what gearing are you all using with the trencher x's? i have 17/49 now will 16/49 make a difference? Cheers
  15. My current gearing is 17/49. Not sure what would be best to change (hopefully CB). I have taken out the blue shock springs and left what looks like the stock black ones on, don't know why he had 2 sets on each shock. P.s does it look like I might have a leak? This was jut after a couple of tanks straight after engine was clean.
  16. cheers guys, will upload some photo's tonight when i have a look at it. Looks like i need the HPI racing CB with the steel spur gear, will see what gearing i currently have.
  17. ahhh bugger! they are very nice wheels but dont think i want to go through the hassle of changing gearing. i need to start looking into things before impulse buying! haha.
  18. I ran into a few problems this weekend, i have just fitted some proline trencher x on my savage 4.6 and found my engine was reaching over 300of, tried to richen it up a bit but then it wont hit second gear.. is this normal as the wheels are larger? i am also recently having problems with my OWB slipping, i have noticed alot of fuel/oil on my pullstart after just one run which i think maybe causing it to slip, first thought maybe backplate leaking? this was happening before the wheels btw. Thanks
  19. Just got them both of rcspares, thanks for your help guys
  20. yep pretty much same everywhere, none on ebay either.
