Could you let me have the set-up data as I having serious arguments with my SX3 & I like a set-up which means I have the fimal say not the car . Cheers.

Bit of an unusual question, but I trying to get back into racing after over 20 years away from the sport. When I used to race it was on flat carpet in the main, multi-surface racing (Off-Road Tracks Indoors) was in it's infancy. I'm gradually getting my CAT SX3 to handle how I like it on the flat & in corners, rumble strips, jumps & the half-pipe the club I race at are not really a problem but the club make their tracks in a (for the wont of a better description) a figure of 8 using a ramped bridge to leap over the track I cannot get to grips with & am continually breaking my front end, I am especially going through carbon fibre front shock mounts. I have been told to get the S1 version as it has a bit more flex in it but after seeing a Cat K1 Aero I am thinking that using the nut guards may be a better all round solution, I don't for 1 minute expect it to fit directlt to the SX3's Shock mount so I would like to swap over to use the K1 Aero's Shock Mount does anyone know if it will fit?

I had a similar problem at one race meeting when I was makeing adjustments to the ESC & accidentally reset all parameters. Connect your programming box up & make sure that the 'Low Voltage Cut-Off Threshhold' & the 'Overheat Protection' setting are disabled this should cure the ESC cutting out. Hope this helps Rich.

Have you reversed the throttle channel ( Channel 2)? If not do this then re-calibrate the ESC should work then.

Finally got things sorted. Someone suggested reversing the throttle channel the trying again & this is what I thought I'd tried but stupidly I didn't look at the labels on my transmitters reversing switches just assumed the one under the throttle was for throttle & the one under steering was for steering - WRONG!!! Realized my mistake reversed the correct channel, re-calibrated ESC & hey presto worked 1st time.

Yes I calibrated it. You hold the set-up button down for 2 secs when switching on, orange LED lights up, red led flashes & there's a continuous beep, You then press set-up button once - orange light flashes once & there's 1 beep to set neutral position, put throttle to full position press set-up button orange light flashes twice & 2 beeps, put throttle to full reverse press set-up button orange led flashes 3 times & 3 beeps, ESC then automatically switches off. Switch ESC on, red & orange leds light up to signify normal sensored operation,moving throttle has no effect on motor.

Just bought a Speed Passion Reventon Pro with Speed Passion Competition V3 5.5t motor. Struggling to get it to work can set neutral point, full throttle & full reverse points ok but when I switch it back on it lights up ok but will not power the motor. Removed all wires & then 're-soldered everything, changed receiver wire but still no go. Anyone got any ideas?

I intend to fit my CAT SX3 Pro with the Speed Passion Reventon-Pro ESC & V3.0-5.5R Motor, I also want to fit the Reventon Bluetooth Module. I got the dimensions of both the ESC & B/T Module to try to figure out how to fit them on the chassis but can't seem to get them to fit. Can anyone help and suggest a layout that would allow me to mount everything in the car. Thanx
