Yeh I was looking at the v2 , looking for something plug in and go rather than my 5t which is a bit loud etc any bad points or upgrades needed out of the box.

I've read this thread from start to finish as I'm thinking of buying a X Maxx are they worth there asking price and are they any good before I part with my hard earned cash ? live read all the reviews but I thought I'd as the people who own them cheers guys

Yeh sorted my failt coil dropped?

I was looking at aX2 in the end went for genuine 5ive t the cost difference is not worth it , and 5t over baja there a pain to work on

Sorted was the coil touching the fly wheel , that's one I'll remember in future cheers

Spoke to nige at freeprawn and he says 5b ss kit should be available end of April may time now they've got a factory in China to build them as no one here has them in stock here

I'll look at that and see how it goes cheers pall , it did take it off to fit the kill switch don't know weather it wasn't but back like you say with a gap I wasn't aware of the gap I've learned something

Yeh it's on a keyboard stand , it turns when you spin flywheel, just won't when you pull the cord , pulls out about an inch then locks.

I am considering swapping engine for a G320 for the hell of it anyway.

Tried that AJ , I many have failed to add tried to turn it over with out fuel in just to see weather the engine is any good compression etc I realised that fuel will lubricate engine , or is that the problem no fuel in it and it's me being stupid ?

I sold my five t last year after spending a fortune on it and now I really miss it so I bought a second hand one off eBay it's only 4 months old with a few hop ups on it. The previous owner said it's only had one tank of fuel through the engine all looks great it looks like new. this week end I decided to try it it's got the standard 29cc engine in it , my problem is the engine is very tight that tight you can't even pull the pull cord it doesn't even move I scared of snapping it does any one have any idea what the problem could be. thanks.

Got one off eBay second hand 3 months old with a few extra hops ups like new and saved my self a few quid to at the same time ? Then next I'll empty my bank spending on up grades

Yeh I kind of agree with that the last 5t I had nothing broke worked out of the box , nothing ordered yet may end up going original....

Going order mine this week and change diff before I run it , what's the clutch like I've heard there not so good ??

Was going to ask you what diff cases were like but you've answered that cheers, do servos have metal gears

Yeh I understand why you've changed it then. How long did your diffs last and what goes wrong with them , are they just cheap plastic and metal , still cheaper than genuine then.
