  1. Thanks for the reply.....any suggestions for the servo
  2. I'm new to rc cars and I'm struggling with the steering servo on an old mk 1 ansmann nitro car. With no load the servo turns the wheels but with load it struggles!!! I suspect the servo is cheap and the plastic cogs are not biting as well as they should... Does anyone know of a good replacement which is relatively cheap Current servo is an SRM 102 sanya Thanks rich

  4. http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/album/2619-/ Thanks to the really helpful people on this site I might just be able to ge this car working for a school project (I'm a Science teacher). I have resources some lower front wishbones (although they say they don't come with the metal balls - just hope I can transfer them easily from the ones I broke!! - any advice gratefully received I've been told that I can replacements for just the top of the shock absorbers but I want to be sure I am getting the right thinks (as you will see from the diagrams the top plastic part has sheared off). If anyone can give me some advice I would be really grateful I have been told I can get them from the following place but I just want to be sure they will fit: http://www.blacksmithproducts.co.uk/products.asp?cat=133&pg=2 Thanks Richard
  5. Would love to know a couple more things As you can see from the pics - the top of the front suspension arms have broken (this seems to just be a small piece of plastic which fits under the top screw head) - anyone know if this can be replaced or do I have to replace the whole suspension arm. Secondly - how do I remove and then replace the bottom part of the suspension that fits into the lower arm Last of all - does anyone know where I can get a set of lower suspension arms for the Shengqi hummer Thanks again Richard
  6. Can't thank you all so much - I will keep you posted on how I get on. The pupils would have loved the crash!!! Thanks again Richard
  7. http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/album/2619-/ I am new to this forum so I hope I have posted this in the right place. I am a Science teacher who is new to the world of RC cars and recently got given the car above. After a couple of weeks of tweeking and playing I got the car to work this morning (ace fun) with the aim of getting pupils into engineering / Science in a fun and relevant way. Unfortunately I had so much fun I forgot how fast it was going and the inevitable crash happened. I now need some replacement parts but don't know what car it is....any help would be gratefully received. I need to replace the plastic on top of the front suspension and also the bottom front wishbone (if thats what you call it!!) Thanks Richard
