I cant find the exact engine settings as its chinese but have done it roughly, Its a protech ultrex or phaser 4 im not sure, May even be the same thing?

I dont know how much to be honest as I bought it used but it looks WELL used!, Lets say though its still in break in period which I highly doubt but for example, How would I get it not to jam up so I could actually use it?

Its definitly not new and as I said I have has a good tank and half through it but its always been a bit dicky since iv had it and no doubt thats why the bloke sold it!

Hi all! Basically a short while ago I bought a cheap chinese buggy off here and when it arrived it fired up and then died and locked up (First use!) Anyway I managed to strip it down and get it running, I used it for about 20 mins in total on 2 occasions and on the 2nd occasion it died on me and the pullstart jammed. This is what happened before and I managed to free it up and get it running but this time it happened it wont free up, Iv taken the pullstart out and cleaned it all up but I dont think thats the problem, The flywheel gets stiff too. Once I have cleaned it all up and put it back (Without the glow or exhaust) it spins nicely with the pullstart but as soon as I replace the glow and exhaust it just goes stiff to the point where its near impossible to turn the flywheel even with a screwdriver. I know this is a cheap chinese rubbish buggy and I shouldnt have bought it but the seller assured me it was fine which it clearly isnt! I do have a hpi savage also which works great and the quality difference really shows but id like to fix this chinese one just fo thrashing on the beach! Any help would be much appreciated :-)

To be honest mate I think the shell is a bit pricey considering its really pretty beaten up! Also the carbon plates seem a little strong, Did you manage to photo the batt box?

A price would help things and its the forum rules if nothing else!

Yes I can, And we have had some rain here in wales to say the least!, Its been about 2 weeks since I have done it and the rain still beads on the car so it is obviously still working fine, The reason I bought it is because im moving to Spain at the end of this month and wanted some protection from the non-stop sun, Cars fade VERY quickly there so I was hoping this can provide the protection. It comes reccomended from many manufacterers and so far I am still very impressed with it, The coating is obviously strong ( I left it on for 24 hours before buffing it off as other forums suggested to do), It doesnt stop the car getting dirty obviously but it makes cleaning easier as nothing sticks to it and it has been **** on twice by birds, It just comes off no problem.
