  1. Haven't been on here in ages or been out with the trucks much. Bought and built a wrangler last year and after building it in a day ive only really used it once properly, mainly due to sea water buggering up the motor, oops. So its been sat on my shelf with my 6x6 and trailer and I've been looking at them recently thinking I want to take one of them out. Any one around bristol want ot arrange a group trail sometime?
  2. Went up to longwell green b&q last week with mine. Its a good smooth surface and on a sunday evening its quiet.
  3. Ahh my local B&Q. Mind if I join you? I'll bring my drifter up on the back of my 6x6
  4. My 6x6 is hopefully all good now, would be awesome to have a trail with someone in Bristol again
  5. Which B&Q are you going to?
  6. Ahh yeah ive still got that grease if you want it back?. not bad mate, 6x6 is done just ironing out a few niggles when I have cash as just bought another car.
  7. Would have if you still had your dingo. ;-)
  8. Those are the motors I used, butt loads of torque. One thing to note make sure you don't over tighten the bolts as it bends the plastic gearbox and rubbs the gears inside.
  9. Fair enough put something up when your up for a trail. Usually back from work at about 6 during the week and free on weekends.
  10. I live in oldland and I really wanted to go out with my scx10 6x6 as ive just finished it. When were you thinking of going?
  11. Finally pretty much finished mine all ive got to do is make the flatbed. Haven't taken it out yet. Loving the look of it and the dual 50t motors make it so tourquey.
  12. How are you doing your chassis extensions?
  13. Ill upload a few to my gallery when im home from work.
  14. Naa just need 2 more axles, a short driveshaft, rear shock hoops, links and shocks. Its pretty self explanatory really. As for a chassis extension I used aluminium squere tube and bolted it to the holes for the rear bumper.
  15. Where are you in the uk. Because I would be interested in this but id rather deal cash
  16. All my stuff needs work and money put into them. :-/
  17. Yeah that's exactly what I did. Just make sure you drill it straight
  18. Ive got mostly all custom links on my scx10 6x6 and I made them with aluminium tube cut to Length and slightly longer threaded rod inside and the traxxas ball ends on each end. The tube is 6mm wide and 1mm thick. The only thing you need to do is drill out the plastic part of the ball end to make the hole a bit bigger. Easy and without any fiddly threading.
  19. Where are you in the uk?
  20. Sorry I didn't realise it was 6 wheel steering as well, my bad. As for suspension it would just be like the normal suspension mounts. Just the rear rear ones on the extend section.
  21. I used 10mmX10mm squere tube cut to Length ans custom made Links and Custom cut driveshaft. My scx10 had already extended links so its longer to begin with
  22. You saying you are going to make it fron an scx10? Mine was supposed to be a budget build but it soon changed. Basically for the centre axle you just need 2 scx10 rear axles and put the two input sides together. Is it from a stock rtr scx10 or a kit with a high torque motor? Mine has been slow burning for a few months now.
  23. Yes I still have your grease. I will give it to you when I next see you. And do you want your wheels back I added a chrome set tk my order
