  1. Indeed Personally I get on quite well with GT, never had a problem albeit I have found some of the "cheeper" models (I'm thinking back to XC3 days) didn't hack it to well. As for Shimano vs Sram I'm afraid I'm a "Sram" kinda guy.... Both makes produce some seriously good quality products, I personally get on better with Sram. It really does depend on the person or rider in this instance I feel...
  2. That video didn't come out to bad considering As mentioned above, certainly puts into perspective what they go through
  3. Hi there Trials is great ... takes some time to get used to, and I'm still learning a lot. Downhill does become expensive very quickly, which is part of the reason I haven't considered it yet having said that Trials also becomes very expensive - I dread to work out what I've spent on my latest build I have no doubt this video is within this thread somewhere, unfortunately I'm no where near such standard, but for a good bit of viewing here's on "trials session"...
  4. Thank you :-) With pay day tomorrow, currently looking around just Ebay, here and the usuals. Looking at an Axial SCX10 (Dingo), also looking at a Defender shell on Ebay .... Am I correct in saying with the SCX10 you have to slightly shorten it to fit better with the shell? Anyone shed any light on that? P.S. I am searching through the forum as we speak, so may find the answer momentarily haha

Some great shots on here, I have recently got into photography quite a bit ... In particular on the motorsport side of things, see what you think; DSC_4460 by DanMorrey_Photo's, on Flickr DSC_0335 by DanMorrey_Photo's, on Flickr
  6. A better introduction for myself, I'm Dan, 21 years old and currently a service supervisor at a Triumph Motorcycles dealership. Looking after the workshop etc etc
  7. Hi all, just joined up having a browse I currently have three trials bikes I'm "still" practicing on - loads of fun though! Also have a Carrera Fury however looking at upgrading to a full suspension. Would love to dabble in a bit of 4X or downhill too...
  8. Thank you both for the welcomes, and yes I have already come across your own project Pugeyed Looking forward to diving in ... So to speak
  9. Hello all, My names Dan, currently got a number of RC cars from a variety of old Tamiya's through to my FTX Outrage ... Nothing special, but all good fun! I thought I'd better sign up, and introduce, being watching the site for a few weeks ... Going forward I hope to be building a Land Rover scale replica - fancy building something relatively from scratch for a change! Well, that's me ....
