    Hi, I took my stampede out (as the sun is finally out), flew off a few big jumps etc, now it won't move, just a high pitched squeal. If I lift the car up, the wheels will spin but it won't move when it's on the ground. I have tried adjusting the slipper clutch (no success), wondered if I have stripped a gear or something? Any ideas?

    The BMX track is okay, bit small and very muddy as it is on a flood plane. We are just waiting for the weather to brighten up a bit before taking the cars out there again. Let me know if you're thinking of going down as I live in Rugby.

    No, its on Butlers leap. If you drive past the park (where the fireworks were) with park on your right, head down the hill, turn left at the lights and the bmx track is on the righthandside as you get to the floodplane. Just waiting (like everyone else) for some dry weather.

    Hi Just got back into RC with my young son. Always on the lookout for decent spots in and around Rugby. We tend to use the BMX and other areas near Butlers Leap.

    I am in Rugby and always open to a bit of help if there's any out there. I kinda hoped It was going to be a bit tougher to break than this to be honest, I've only had it a couple of weeks. Thanks for all the advice, I appreciate the help.

    WD40 had indeed appeared to be my friend up to now. 4 inches of snow would probably stop most things I guess. I hadn't dared strip anything down yet as I am new to all this, but if you all think its simple enough -maybe I'll give it a go if a squirt and a dry out doesn't work.

    Hi, Please excuse my ignorance. I have recently bought a Traxxas stampede XL-5 and have a query on the drive to the rear wheels. I am not sure if something is wrong but the drive seems to be coming mainly from the right rear wheel. The right rear wheel will spin freely, but the left rear is much stiffer and will not freely spin. I hope that makes sense.

    Weirdly it has a 3 pin socket for the batt, but its only using a 2 pin plug. Its an acoms am 2ch AR227FE 27mhz. If I plug a battery in, and manualy move the speed controller everything works, i have also tried using a different combination of controllers and chystals - but nothing is getting through.

    Hi, i have acquired a Tamiya falcon that appears to have a faulty bec receiver. I have not tried to replace one before, so excuse my ignorance. I have searched for an exact spare with no luck, can anyone advise on what i can use as a replacement and where to get one. Thanks.

    Yeah, did wonder about that Thought I might be able to prevent the damage before it happens though. Is RPM a brand or a supplier?

    I love it, but you'd think these things would be simple. I look at them and think 'Where'd my money go - there's nothing there!' and then find I don't even understand it anyway.

    Hi, Can anyone recommend upgrades for a stampede xl-5? I have heard the steering blocks can be a weakpoint and would be interested in knowing what others have done to make theirs better/stronger. Cheers

    Hi Has anyone found a lighting kit for a Stampede XL-5? I don't think Traxxas make any - only for the 4x4 - not sure if they would work? Thanks
