So ive put the shocks on their lowest point and re fitted the 1.55's although it crawls better over obstacles with the 1.9's it is top heavy again due to a higher center of gravity. If i find it is functional with the current set up i can look at more road rover style designs for my next body and forget about the sdi fenders. Few idea's, the missus likes the idea of the metallic red ones, im thinking go for the windows over the van style and perhaps focus on my interior too. Liking this White one (with my wheels though save buying new ones) and having black roof/ arches with the union jack/90 decals as above with black check plate? im not a huge fan of pick ups although it does work with the off road theme. I already have a 90 body Gaz thanks, plus that is the best part doing it yourself.

Gaz says he build it, i can use my photos as they are too big Im not sure im familiar with these sdi arches ill google them now, Ive been browsing different defenders for inspiration but the issue i now have is the shocks im using give too much ride height so i have the bigger 1.9's which do make it look silly imo but its more practical as a crawler so im swaying more towards the jacked up off road look which perhaps i feel isn't as rewarding.

considering fitting Axial fender extensions(AX/AX-80040) too this one whats peoples views ?

Does anyone know if this servo is waterproof? Im potentially looking to replace my Savox SW0230 mg waterproof servo with this one but i do like to get my scx10 wet and dont want to destroy it. Also im under the impression i should run a BEC with it? is this the case even without lipo? Thanks.

Even after heating the tread lock with a heat gun the heads of the grub screws have rounded off :-( will have to drill them out.

Are you selling the rc4wd punisher shafts?

So looks like wheelspin models are going to reimburse me for the shafts so I'll use the credit from them to purchase the uprated gears. What shafts would people recommend?

Honestly it does catch every now and then, my plan was to see how it got on at that height with those tyres before selling my 1.55's and looking at fitting wheel arch extensions but it broke before I really got to use it.

Do you mean the picture above along with the failed parts? They are new Axial 1.9" Trepador tyres just purchased from The Dark Knight.

So i added some 1.9's to help with the added ride height, although it doesn't look perfect it crawls well. I say crawls well...it did until this happens! The shafts are two months old, genuinely only used twice as i blew a shocker last outing....every time i go out it breaks! Is there a metal upgrade available for the transmission?
