So my scx10 arrived today spec is as follow's (according to the seller); Savox waterproof servo Aloy C Hub Carrier Aloy Steering Knuckles Jun Fac steel drive Shafts Castle SV3 Sidewinder combo Aloy underbody protectors Proline 2.2 Beadlocks All stainless steel hex,s were possible.. rtr on 2.4 ghz Ive had a little play at work with it, i did intend to keep the D90 shell as a trophy shell and use the Jeep one as my crawling shell. However i have got to shorten the wheel base which i will need advise on as im uncertain as what to do, i can see ill need to replace the x4 rod's which im under the impression are hop up's? Had these wheels off a mate who told me to try them with the D90 body and if so i can buy them off him. Let me know what you think guys, im toying with the idea of filling the rear window's but cant yet decide as i feel im missing out on detailing the rear interior? Ive decided to go with the Volkswagen Mendoza brown and hope to have it something like this
  2. Fairplay mate looking great, still cant decide if im going to fit my windows or fill them but im definately going to do black roof and arches. Keep up the good work.
  3. fair play looks great. Just noticed on your RC4wd body you have filled the rear windows, this is something im considering. How did you do yours? im thinking of fitting the glass and filling over it?
  4. Loving this mate, really like what you have done with the real 90 too. Did you buy the wrap online or something? how much roughly would you say it cost to wrap yourself? Quite fancy a 90 however my budget wouldn't get a new ish one but yours looks a lot newer now.
  5. I've got my D90 body now, can anyone recommend a way of painting the front grill that's come chromed? is it just a case of rubbing it down and priming ? Thanks.
  6. I was kind of asking what people thought? It's certainly worth taking a look.
  7. Thanks mate, I'm going to look at it today hopefully. He has said this " brand new RC4WD D90 shell all unpainted etc.Sadly the glass has a couple of marks and one piece requires glue (transit damage!) it won't be noticeable if you are good with crafting rc stuff Price wise I'm hoping for
  8. I'm sure it will but I don't want to make a purchase and find it won't fit. A rc4wd landrover defender 90 shell has come up locally and I'd like to purchase it for my Axial scx10 which I'm hoping will arrive early part of next week. Can someone just confirm it fits so I don't waste my money. Thanks.

  15. Hello thanks for the reply, yes I've browsed and seen some fantastic looking examples. Are the defender body's the usual clear plastics or are they painted externally? Thanks.
  16. So im quite liking the replica Landrover 90's and was wondering what would be a good budget chassis to make a replica? I've always enjoyed designing of the shells more than actually using them so id be happy with something cheap and cheerful. Other tings I like is the replica trucks and I enjoy making replica road cars too. Thanks.
