  1. Well someone in Europe got the sabertooth. Let's hope for some more videos soon
  2. I have the dbx ve 2.0 which has the same chassis as the dmt and drx. In my mind a metal chassis is always better than a plastic one A Savage flux XS seems like fun but it's way too small, the mini summit is pretty small as well and considered to be a "money pit". The stampede is more expensive I believe and will never handle like the dmt. Don't forget that the dmt has 3 sealed diffs so that you can adjust the way it handles by trying out different diff oils. On the other side the dmt doesn't have lots of aftermarket accessories and from what I understand part support in UK sucks. Also I highly reccomend you get the DMT VE-R that comes with better electronics (capable of 3s unlike the dmt ve) and 2.4ghz transmitter. It's just a few pounds more but it's worth it. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kyosho-DMT-VE-R-Team-Orion-Brushless-RTR-Electric-4wd-Off-Road-Truck-30844RS-/321105236659?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item4ac35d12b3 (I have nothing to do with that shop/seller, I'm using it as an example. Also, the transmitter only needs 4 AA batteries not 8 that is mentioned there) In conclusion, I do believe the dmt ve-R is a bargain but for a begginer maybe it's better to get something that has better part support and is owned by lots of people so that you can get help on the forums. Personally I'd get the dmt ve-r over the others anyday but where I live it's super-easy to find kyosho parts. Sorry for all the mistakes, I hope my post makes sense
  3. Cool! I found this seller which is suppossed to have the original cameras http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-DVR-808-16-V2-Lens-D-Key-Chain-Micro-Camera-HD-720P-Pocket-Camcorder-4GB-/150870363999?pt=US_Surveillance_Digital_Video_Recorders_Cards&hash=item2320930f5f The thing is that I checked the forum graxon2001 mentioned and there is a new version that came out recently? Check it here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=23946295&postcount=564 .
  4. These look nice indeed but I don't know how durable they are.
  5. It's not a roller It only comes as an RTR For a 1/10 4wd buggy I believe the dbx ve 2.0 is one of the best options (that's why I bought it) but since it has almost the same price as the eb4 g3 then I guess the eb4 is the obvious choice.
  6. If you really want to go 1/8 I believe the Thunder Tiger EB4 G3 is a good choice for a tight budget. You'll need to stretch your budget a bit but it's RTR so you won't need a motor or esc. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/thunder-tiger-eb4-g3-e-buggy-brushless-blue-/rc-car-products/38999
  7. The Thunder Tiger should be faster as it is capable of 4s (or 6s if you just change the esc) while the dbx 2.0 ve is only capable of running 3s. I do love my dbx but I think the eb4 is a real bargain.
  8. Well if you can find Kyosho parts then the kyosho dbx ve 2.0 is not a bad choice I believe. 4wd and no saddle packs but it's not waterproof. If you want 2wd have a look at the e-firestorm flux, seems like a fun vehicle
  9. The wheels could be better but the tyres are pretty good. I have them and I'm happy with them, they look awesome too Next time I'll get a pair of of nandas on white wheels and a pair on black wheels to mix things up
  10. Hello, I'm interested in getting the new Olympus TG-2 but since it's quite new it's hard to find reviews. I was wondering if someone here already owns one and can share some info about it. Also I would like to see what people that know about photography think about this camera based on it's specs. I currently own the tg-320 which is fun and it can handle a beating but it's nowhere near the tg-2 in terms of capabilities...and price unfortunately. So, the question is: should I go for the tg-2 or are there any better "rough" digital cameras in this price range (
  11. Once more, thanks dude! And all the other people on this thread ofcourse Since the servo is below my budget I'll get a couple more minor things, sweeeeeeeet!
  12. Cool then, I'll go with it. Should I get this servo horn too http://www.modelsport.co.uk/ansmann-racing-alu-servo-horn-single-27mm-25t/rc-car-products/371201 ? The current pillow ball screw should fit there right? It's cheap so I think I'll try it out anyway. (yeah the horn question is a bonus question )
  13. @Bonez The more I'm looking at this servo and comparing it to others the more I'm liking it. I'm a bit worried because I've never heard of alturn before, I just know hitech, savox etc. (but I'm a noob so it kinda makes sense!) One last stupid question about this servo: the connector on this servo is a "J" connector, right? I can see it is because it has red-black-white wires but I thought I'd doublecheck @smeghead28 Yeah I guess I can do that since what I really want is water ressistance and not waterproof-ness (or whatever the word is). Actually I've thinking in wrapping it in cellophane used for food such as the one shown in the picture (without the egg).
