I'm only asking for people's Opinions on whether they suite the car I'm doing no harm in asking.

Yep you are right about that.

Next time I want to know what colour pants to put on in the morning I will be sure to post on the forum and ask :)

  2. As some are aware I bought a 27" 5K Imac last week.

I had a 15" Macbook Pro before but the screen was just too small for my liking and my eyes :)

I know there is the whole which is better PC or Mac but I am a Mac lover sorry to say.

I did what is called a "Timemachine" of my laptop which basically copies the OS and any files/programs to an external hard drive, when you set up the new Imac it gives the option to set it up from a Timemachine back up so basically the new Imac has exactly the same files/program on it that the laptop did.

Also bought a 2TB network hard drive and a new Wifi router that supports the faster 802ac wifi standard that the Imac supports as well as my phone.

All my video/pictures/music etc are on it and I can access it on the Imac, phone and TV.

Pictures/videos are also uploaded to the network hard drive automatically from the phone when I have a wifi connection and again are available on all devices.

I can also stream 3 different HD videos to 3 devices at once with no buffering.

Again maybe nothing that special but I love what it can all now do :)

Hi guys please reply to me and tell me if you think the new Wheels look okay.

Sorry but are you so insecure of what you are doing you have to constantly ask people for their opinions?

It is your stuff, you do what you want with it and stick with whatever looks good to you and not everyone else.

  4. Hopefully it will now get used :)

I unlocked the rear as I wanted to use it more as an off roader rather than crawling, having had a few cars with locked diffs before they do seem to reduce the turning circle quite a bit.

I wouldn't go 4S to be fair,I beleive the motor is in the 2S-3S range but it's up to you of course.

Dont know if the suspension has been changed but I put Axial stiffer springs on the rear and put the original rear springs on the front, the stock set up was way to plush for my liking.

  5. If it is MMR in Birmingham I am not surprised.

I bought a Losi 5ive off them that was supposed to be a click and collect from Argos,Argos refused to accept it (different story) but MMR did little to help me locate where it had ended up and when I was going to receive it.

Having spent £800+ they didn't seem that bothered by it and I had to chase them up to get any information and eventually a tracking number.

Lots of broken promises of phone calls and "it should be with you on such a day" later I asked for a refund.

Wouldn't go back no matter what and I would suggest that whilst some people obviously do get their stuff don't expect much help if you don't.

  6. That isn't exclusive to Axial, I've had hit and miss in that department.

But to be fair, stick the bolts through and it's no issue at all, minen are still going strong after about 7 months of use, so despite them seeming to be badly made, they're far from it.

IMO this looks more like a Twin Hammers than a Wraith, but that's just me.

If the steering was sorted on the Yeti, there's no upgrades needed from the kit version at all.

Going on first hand experience of actually running a stock one, not what others say you need to upgrade.

No but seeing as we are talking about an Axial product I thought it was relevant.

Also whilst they do fit together okay once bolted I cant imagine for one minute they were designed that way,I certainly haven't seen that method of assembly in other RCs I have built :)

  7. The few Axial kits I have built dont seem to be made very well.

The rear axle halves on the SCX10 I had didn't fit together very well, the moulding was quite bad.

It took bolting the two halves together to get them to line up flat with each other otherwise they were quite bowed.

Same with the Yeti, the ends of the rear axle didn't fit very well together till the tubes were put on the ends.

  8. Still very plastic fantastic out of the box. Are we to assume a better spec kit version will follow?

    Axial are a strange company....

Indeed the rear trailing arms are plastic, isn't that the bit that always failed on the Yeti?

  9. When I saw the self righting for the first time the thought "I wonder if that is hard on the drive train" sprang to mind.

Personally unless the truck was a long way away I would just go and turn it over myself.

  10. I had the original and it was fun although the odd hex shaped rear drive shafts wore out with you just looking at them :)

The only cure I could afford at the time was to stiffen the rear end up to reduce the suspenion movement that was causing the wear.

I assume they have cured/fixed this with the new version?

  11. Whats NAZA mode?

    J

It makes the Phantom behave more like a quad that has a Naza flight controller installed.

Bit confusing as the Phantom does have a variant of Naza installed but as it is it acts a bit differently to a "stock" Naza flight controller unless you switch it to Naza mode.

    Does that help? :)

  12. This is a lively thread, with lots of speculative discussion and general excitement about a truck which could end up being a pile of excrement...  Just saying... ;)

Just planning a couple of models to use with the plethora of 3s LiPos that will be in the FS section soon!  LOL

My thoughts exactly 21 pages of speculation :)
