  1. As paints dry they need to let out the vapours etc (hence they smell for a while and then smell goes) you have applied paint to thick, the outer layer has dried and the inner paint was still wet and breathing. This is the vapour trying to escape the last layer. It happened on my full size speed boat!
  2. Look on the helicopter. It has the red and white cables. Red being live
  3. Haha I don't know how I managed it, I know its an msrx so must have typed it wrong? O well haha, I now have 8 battery's so lots of practice time. Few bits been superglued back on, been through 2 blade holders. Must practice landings! Lol
  4. Woops, good spot. Won't be getting many views lol
  5. I had a bash outside today. Alot easier when you have the room to "just try" things. In a kitchen its not so easy. Didn't manage to land it outside. Mostly kept her flying until battery died then it dropped! Haha. Lol at my dog chasing it near the end. As you can see, it was pretty windy. Have a couple of other videos but not very nice landings http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VxyHszTE9D8
  6. Don't forget, the 4 minutes isn't just for the battery... The motor gets massively hot..
  7. Standard poo one. I swear its nearly impossible to control nose turn without throttling up or down! Ha
  8. Cheers I have just purchased another standard battery for more flying time today at
  9. I'm not really sure lol its not a club, just a bunch of friends I think, mim unsure until tommorow! Just paid
  10. I see mention of Thursday, and Your location being Yarmouth, does this by any chance mean you go to the Hopton school? If so, I'm hoping to go there for the first time tommorow (I'm getting in every second of practice possible so I don't look silly) but I have only had my heli a day and with only one battery its limiting my flying time!

    Off road shocks

As above. Fr my Schumacher XTR3e. Want fairly decent. Cheers
  12. Getting pretty good now! Canopy is a bit damaged but not killed anything major yet. I am literally using it, charging it and using it as soon as battery is charged so had a good 45 mins on it yesterday. I have ordered 6 x overlander lipo's for it, they should be here tommorow. I'm going down a local school where they open the sports hall for a group of people to fly in so they better be! Lol As I'm mega impatient I'm going too go and pay silly money for a couple of standard ones today just so I can get as much practice in today (ill so off work) ready for tommorow night so I don't look silly!
  13. I need to see this too, its like learning to drive in an F1 car! Haha
  14. Cheers mate Just put through my 3rd battery (20minute charge time FTW!) had it up for a good amount of time.. Felt a bit confident so tried the yaw.. It went downhill, Its going to take some getting used too, I keep moving throttle when I turn nose! More practice. Having model shop order in 6x125mAh 26c batteries. What do you think?
  15. Sorry guys, got one now! Went to the shop to see if the scout was in and walked away with the blade MSRX! It's a handful but even after just 2 battery's I am able to keep it in the air for a good minute or so in my kitchen. Great fun. I find myself not using the left controller yaw, I haven't used this once as I don't want to accidentally give to much throttle and hit the ceiling. I'm now ordering 5 spare upgraded batteries so will see what a bit of practice can do
  16. Hey guys, bit of advice needed.. Few friends and the GF's dad have bought eBay special

In fact, anything considered.. Not just mushroom type
  18. I beleive I need inside diameter of about 14mm? Just rubber press on mushroom type please
  19. It does not do it in my other car either if I swap the receiver. Worth trying my 2.4 in it? Although I don't think they have interference problems does it?
  20. I forgot to add also, this is without the car running? Just electrics.
  21. Hey guys, having a problem with my car. When I turn it on and the handset on all the controls etc work perfectly, sometimes though all the steering and throttle judders and twitches. It's the old crystal system. Servo and wiring are fine.. Also noticed if I touch a pair of pliers on the heat sink of the engine it goes mad, twitching and moving. Any ideas please? Many thanks
  22. Make sure there is no grit or anything causing the carb to stick open?
