  1. Mine was not in the engine, it was stapled to some paperwork in the box with the car, nearly threw it away. Check all yours paperwork in the box too, as it's very easy to lose should be a fasttrax no4 by the way bud
  2. Threw some old MTA4 wheels i found lying around at the hyper! This being the end result! Just can't use full right hand lock lol
  3. Got a core rc 6v 1600mAH hump pack, lasts about 12 tanks before dying... http://www.modelsport.co.uk/core-rc-1600mah-nimh-6v-rx-hump-pack/rc-car-products/29695 Anyone got a link to the upgrade kit? Cheers!
  4. Cheers for the quick response guys Ok then, so best to keep with my current settings and throw in the os 8 plug then. Sounds good to me. Will have to look into multi packs of em on the bay for back ups. Whilst i'm at it, are metered glow starters worth buying and can anyone recommend one at a reasonable price?
  5. Right, heres me problem. Just finished off a gallon of 25% byrons, in my hyper 7 .21 3 port, but have blown 2 fasttrax no 4 plugs in that time, any idea why this would happen? Have a gallon of 25% optifuel race on the way (can't justify the cost per litre of byrons anymore) and an Os no 8 plug on the way. Planning on returning to stock needle settings when it all arrives...
  6. Got it dirty for the first time in 3 weeks Only blew a glow plug (last one, ARSE) got an OS No 8 plug and more fuel comin from ms this week...
  7. Hyper 7 Tq2. it was more than likely me then, i was down warfside last night actually lol. Planning on heading to marazion on sunday for a few tanks if you're keen?
  8. I was running my Hyper 7 TQ2 on damp car park last night with small puddles, and notice the brakes weren't as good as in the dry. It pulled down pretty well at high speed, but struggled to stop at low speeds. I'm thinking the stock glass fibre disks don't like water, Would it be worth upgrading to the metal disks and pads? Cheers!
  9. Ideal!! Just waiting on a new pullstart to come and she's ready to rip by the weekend. Lost 3 pullstart bolts on the last run so ordered a new pullstart as a spare but will use threadlock this time!!
  10. Was wondering if there's any of you peeps are in cornwall/west cornwall. Would make things alot more fun if i had someone to play with haha
  11. Fitted my new wheels Well chuffed with the way it looks now :-)
  12. Finally managed to run it, re tuned it for the cold weather. Almost forgot the noise it makes at top revs, well happy now :-D
  13. I'm in west cornwall, every time i warm the engine up ready for a run, it p**ses it down lol
  14. Put some shock sock and some captive wheel nuts on it, just waiting on the new wheels nd tyres and exhaust tip to come. Oh and for it to stop bloody raining!!
  15. Got the TQ2 .21, screams along and takes off like a scalded cat from a standstill. Had no problems with it holding tune. Only thing i've noticed is that it likes to be pre heated before starting from cold though...
  16. Ordered some red shock socks and some blue captive wheel nuts for the Hyper. Hoping the weather stays dry at the weekend so i can finish of my bryrons fuel and stock tyres (switching to Optifuel 25% race)
  17. Would love if if the Xmas tree had a losi 5ive under it with my name on it, but that may well be a late present to myself in the new year haha
  18. I also have a TQ2 .21 brilliant machine, nice and simple to work on and look so much better dirty than clean, not fussed about it getting beaten up as it can take it and still come back for more.
  19. Stripped, cleaned, installed new pullstart and rebuilt it, not sure if it looks better dirty or clean now though haha.
  20. What are peoples thoughts on the HPI baja 5b? Seem quite popular and look awesome! What are they like to use, durability, and are they a good second hand buy? Want to move away from nitro as it's too temperemental but still want noise lol. Cheers!
  21. Hi, just wondering how would i go about converting my Hyper 7 to brushless power as i'm completely new to electric power. Any idea's on best set up and a cost ball park figure will be a massive help. Cheers
  22. Fitted a new rear shock, ran a for a couple hours then the pullstart broke. ARSE!!
  23. 27 with the mental age of about 15
  24. About half way through the second tank of the day, hit some loose gravel under brakes and 180'd it into and under a fence, bending a rear shocker, d'oh!!! Tried to straigten it up but gave up. Ordered a brand new full set off ebay so i have some spares to carry
