  1. I've been offered a Caster racing SK10 Pro in very good condition with loads and loads of spares, a few lipos, ready to run for £200. There's hardly any info on these online so not sure if it's a good deal and not sure how available spares will be. What do you think? Any info appreciated peeps ?
  2. Hi peeps, I've been away for some years but I'm back and bashing a Hpi Baja 5b. One of Mr rear shock pistons exploded and instead of buying new pistons I bought aftermarket half shocks with aluminium pistons installed as they were a bargain at £14 for the pair. The original pistons had 12 holes iirc. The new ones have 2 holes and are tiny at that. I've put 5w shock oil in them but they're still too stiff. Has anyone else tried these pistons and what was the best way to soften them? I'm thinking drill the holes out slightly ??‍♂️. Any help appreciated. Ps, it's good to be back and look forward to catching up at local meets with some of you ?
  3. I checked all bearings and rollers before installing it and there fine. It's all in fine. Only thing I can think is that maybe I should check the belt tooth amount on the diffs. Are the front and rear different amounts?
  4. When I bought the baja the guy had changed it to rwd cuz of a damaged diff. I've just bought the bits to put it back to 4wd and installed them today. My problem is that even without the engine in it doesn't free wheel very well. It's a bit stiff and I can hear notching from the belt teeth if that makes sence. Is this normal or should it be free and smooth? Thanks in advance.
  5. Cheers dude yeah that's the plan, go back to stock and sell it. Going back to nitro I think. Always had nitro for years and wanted to try leccy. Too bloody tetchy for my liking.
  6. I spoke to hpi today and they said that it can be set up like I had it but for high speed passes. I replied with why don't it state that? To which he had no reply so I'm sending the motor to them and they will take a look and see what they can do for me.

  12. They say quite clearly. 73mph with 46t spur 21t pinion on 6s
  13. Why do hpi advertise that with the 2650 motor on 6s gets 74mph iirc

  15. If I gear down then there's no point in changing to 2650 surely? What about the 2200 standard motor? Why would that blow too?

I have the Vorza and have blown 2 2650 motors running 6s ( which hpi say is ok to run) So I went back to standard 2200 motor and all was fine until tonight when I took it out for a test run ready for a big bash this Sunday when BOOM it stopped dead again and the motors locked solid. I can't keep buying motors every 2 month aspecially when it shouldn't be doing it as I'm doing nothing wrong. Am I in my rights to contact hpi and demand a new motor and drive shaft as it snapped that too as it ground to a holt?? Had enough now and might just sell it and go back to nitro.
  17. What are these motors like in comparison to the 2650 tork and 2200 tork from my vorza? I've blown my 2650 AGAIN! So want to go back to 2200. And will it even fit the vorza?
  18. As title. I've killed another 2650 Tork so goin back to standard 2200 but not paying new prices. Would consider anything else that would do the job as good.
  19. Do you still have the motor mate. I've blown mine again so wanna go back to 2200.
  20. Cells 1 and 2 are charging to 4.2v but 3 and 4 are only going to 3.99v how do i get them all level again? cheers
