  1. You've missed it already http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/153465-trophy-truggy-flux-vs-apache-c1/
  2. A bash race between the HPI Trophy Truggy flux and the HPI Apache C1, both more or less stock and running 4s gens ace 5000mah 40c lipo! Enjoy the show!
  3. It's got the HPI Qbase ESC, which is just a HPI branded Mamba Monster Pro (works with castle link etc) and the Alphastar 2350KV brushless motor, which is just a HPI branded castle engine. you're looking at 39-40mph on standard gearing and way too much acceleration. Changed the pinion from 15T to 17T and it topped out at 45mph and it almost grips when you pull away half throttle... I'm right on the south coast, west sussex, chichester. You local?
  4. That was also my first ever video edit so things should get better with more experience
  5. Thanks Admiral, really appreciate that I have to say I'm finding the Apache an absolute blast. It's got buckets of torque, good top end and really reliable. It's really quite heavy though which can make jumping risky should you land especially awkward but as long as you set it up before a jump you're set. I think the handling is good personally, It's weight makes it a little difficult to stop quickly at high speed and it has a little understeer on high grip surfaces so it's much better on the loose stuff. I really haven't gotten to far into tuning the handling yet though and I'm already happy with it for a RTR.
  6. It really is the best place to bash! a few miles of untamed terrain! It's just over near Arundel, about 20 miles from Brighton.
  7. We had our first RC Freaks meet this past weekend at an abandoned sand pit in west sussex. We cleared an area and built some jumps and made a basic course to get us started. Edited the best of the footage that was capture through the day. Enjoy and hopefully if you're local, get involved!
