I've got an exact 3 port, and I'm loving it in my revo. Just need a decent exhaust.

Yup. The 3.3 is a straight fit.

I like the look of Team Associated. I have been using some of there bits on my Sabertooth, and the quality speaks for its self.
Some day i will own a Associated RC8.2B.
I have a revo, but there is not a lot of Traxxas left on it.

what a cool shell.
I would also have to pay someone to paint to that quality.

Try new fuel tubing. And check the engine for air leaks.

Its been a while since i have updated this thread.
The XTM engine failed a while ago, and the Revo sat on a shelf for over a year while i pondered its next engine.
Should i go brushless, or should i keep it nitro.
The engine has been stripped, cleaned, lubricated, greased and sealed.
So far the quality seems good, the internals were clean, and compression is good.

Do you have shims on the inside

I've just serviced the diffs on my sabertooth, and I just left the diffs with the 3 shims. As they felt OK to me for play.

More likely to be tuning.

Chassis looks OK. But your spur gear has seen better days.

Hey Andy, had a quick look at yout thread and you cleaned your diffs with brake fluid and the diff housing you used duck oil, problem is i dont have any of them. all ive got is electrical cleaners, halfords carb cleaner and bit of nitro cleaner. i was thinking filling a cup with petrol and put my diffs in there and clean the diff housing with carb cleaner, what do you think?
The stuff you got will clean just as well.

I use a motor saver air filter, and if I remember correctly you can twist the 3.3 high flow filter to help with clearance.
Also worth a try is to see if your chassis is bending.

I went with Rubber.
Revolution bearings have rubber on one side and metal on the other.
Go with Rubber, then remove the seal and put in marine grease, and pop the seals back on.

The bearing kit is based on standard hubs.
The RPM hubs have bigger bearings.

Avid in the USA do full kits.
More at home, there is RC bearings.
I've used both.
