  1. Sorry for off topic, but how does the ez start work? I have the piece that attaches to the motor but that's all so it doesn't look like its going to do anything. What wiring is that you have and what does it do? Is the control box needed for that as it says ez start 2.
  2. Needs to work, that's all. Only the actual pull start or dual start needed, no engine. Needs to be reasonably priced and collectible from Lancashire. Thanks. Edit. Forgot to mention its a .28 pro engine BX-R
  3. Need to apologise for last night, no excuse for my actions on the forum.

Yeah, I apologise for mine and hope it doesn't happen again.

  4. Yeah, well I'll try to come down but depends if I can convince her D:
  5. Turns out I can't do Tuesday as the other half had a moan about me getting my car fixed Tuesday when we are going past the model shop on Wednesday... Not sure why that stops me going a day earlier but hey ho..
  6. Possibly get a new mount? It may have shredded during vibrations. Change the screws to new ones too, I havent ever shredded the motor threads yet, but the mount happened twice.
  7. Haha win win there Maybe next week at weekend or something?
  8. Not sure, I'll have to see what time I get everything fitted after a model shop visit. Tuesday should be great though. I'll inbox you my mobile number, shoot me a text and we can arrange something closer the time. Should be good to have someone to bash with on a track of sorts
  9. Haha. I'd like my nitro to wheelie once or twice when throttled on rough surfaces, I enjoy the spray of dirt, wheelies are just a byproduct.
  10. Once I get this nitro working, I may pop over to the track myself. Won't be til Tuesday earliest though since I need to pay a visit tithe model shop first for parts. Edit. Also need a postcode or area
  11. Got to say, my tyres were bald from on-road use so it wouldn't be possible for mine to wheelie I'll try the road tyres on it after the weekend and update.
  12. Just an update, the coil was snapped and the thread is pretty short, it looks like it took a beating. I think it's easier to just buy another for now.
  13. I have a .28 in my buggy, it's insane but not impossible. You can always just give it a try as it should work, it's just how well you handle it.
  14. There you go then I programmed my tuning down to 0 degrees for extended run times so mine shouldn't wheelie
  15. It could be, mine has never done a wheelie either on a 9t 4370kv motor, although it never really keeps grip. It may wheelie if it had grip though, but I doubt it unless I squeeze a 3s in there.
  16. I was going to fix it regardless, but have a new one as a spare It's the whole fun of it fixing everything that I enjoy, I just always keep spares in case the coil or bearing goes and I need one.
  17. Haha yeah, I had to do the same thing with a 3s in my vantage, the top hope wasn't drilled at all and i didn't have a small enough tool so I raised my posts
  18. Yeah, we'll I have only just got it so still figuring everything out. Yet to find the tools to remove the motor so I can get to the bottom of the pull start so I can remove the bottom screws. Can't quite reach without removing the motor. Any suggestions? What size hex is it? I have some for my electric but they all seem rather small.
  19. Ahh, most people don't go for the expensive PSU. I personally would never rely on a cheap one. Kudos for that ^.^
  20. There's a track at shadsworth? Wish I had known earlier I'm in the haslingden/Darwen areas (depending on dates) so Blackburn is slap bang in the middle.
  21. ^ what he said. If you find you need more speed, get a faster motor And higher amp esc when you need it . Otherwise you may end up with a ball of fire if you aren't careful (extremely worst case scenario, but it's possible). Higher amp esc means higher lipo count 5s, 6s, etc. someone will explain better than me.
  22. It's new to me, so I will buy another while I take this broken one off and that way I have a spare in case I cannot fix it. It's snapped at the very bottom, the string broke so there is none coming out of the starter. I would be losing next to nothing length wise so it may be an easy fix, apart from the coil, apparently it's a pain.
  23. I never bothered with 3s, i found 2s to be plenty so can't help there. Sorry. Try hobbyking though, turnigy have a good reputation. Something around 5000mAh 35C should be suitable, maybe higher C rating.
