i'm defo going to the quarry this weekend, all the servos are going the correct way on the heli now and i hovered it in the back garden the other day. also got my confidence up on the phoenix sim (been doing inverted flight and all-sorts) so really want to test it where there are no trees.. and it looks like it is going to be a lovely day on sunday also.

just checked the weather for sunday and its looking GOOD, woo hoo.. anybody else coming??

we try and go on a sunday mate and if the weather is good i am defo going there this sunday... just hovered the heli in the back yard for the first time and have got all the srvos going the rite way now,defo getting used to it. i was doing inverted flight on phoenix last night and the monster truck conversion on 3 sisters last weekend was emense so am in the middle of repairs ready for sunday.. oh and i went with the xt90' plugs hebby, just need to change ALL my batteries over now..

Think I will pop down to je after work and get some new connectors. Look forward to the vid outlaw

changing the subject a bit as i really do not want to know what you get up to with the mrs Bull .. anybody used the xt90 plugs for there batteries as i keep getting poo connections with the cheap deans?? and are they easy to solder?? oh and is anyone uploading anything from weekend?

mine where a bit stiff also just give them a good tug and the axle pins are underneath good to see more new members also.. welcome all..

and after all the abuse he gave me.. i have a bit of fuel and some after run oil u can have Bull next time we meet, its only going to waste in the cupboard and its byron stuff (25%). and it seems there is only u left???

i have some off my sc8 from when i upgraded to the t-bone bumpers.. in very good condition no splits.. pm me for pics if you want them mate, they have an associated emblem in the rubber.

shocks now sold, 2 1/2 hours left on receiver and i think i am going to give up on the shell

first time in a while i have broke all 3 trucks, allways a good sign sussed out the heli aswell.. i think.. they released an update last year for the settings on the spektrum tx's and one of the servos are reversed, hopefully next week will not be so windy and if it is sunny think the heli will be more suited to the quarry.. seen too many of outlaw's and toxic' planes and quad's going into those trees when they where first starting out with flying!!

the link in that post that u quoted above, a few people in that have tried the other shells especially the beetle bug shell just have a nosey through it mate.

they let us park on that bit of grass opposite last time toxic.. where i parked behind u when i had the mrs' car, and the steward was fine about it lez parked there with me and the go-karters didnt park on it either if not i dont mind getting the wr8 out for a spin on the car park

I have 1 of these sat about doing nothing if anybody still needs one?

its just good to know that the 2.2 proline tyres (which there are quite alot of) will fit on our tarmac wheels. this should help you aswell southcruiser but make sure you get the tarmac wheel as the offroad wheel is slightly smaller. i am sure proline will do a 2.2 road tyre?? only thing is if you have the standard shocks you might have to jack it up a little so it does not rub.. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE MY WORD ON THIS AS THE ONLY TYRES TESTED ON THE TARMAC RIMS SO FAR ARE THE CASLIBERS AND SOME OF THERE TYRES ARE SLIGHTLY BIGGER/SMALLER IN THERE OUTER DIAMETER!!

i was really hoping to go to the quarry this weekend as the last couple of tries the weather has not been great and i want to try the helicopter out my mrs got me for my birthday (understandable if no one wants to be any where near me while i am in control of a 450 size heli ) and the quarry has the most space, BUT if there are more people going elsewhere i will join you guys where-ever so-long as the weather is good

engine now sold.. will include brand new shock socks with the wr8 shocks, otherwise it is ebay with the receiver!!

i have the proline shocks on mine too so this is good to know when i need new tyres.
