when u use gorilla tape dave do u use it on its own or as suggested above with the plaster board stuff?? thanks pat i will get it off u next time. i am just ordering a new shell for the mt but i am going to spend time this time re-enforcing it so can order which ever tape is best from wheelspin now

are you sure thats the replacement for the rear TOP links, i thought that was for the front adjustable bits that also keep snapping on everyone??... hpi107885 and 100310

sorry to change your subject a bit guys but does anybody know of an alternative for this part http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/125651/ it is the rear top link that holds them rear knuckles in place??? hpi parts are poo, this car has been out a while now and is popular you would think they would of sorted the parts out!! the common parts that break are allways out of stock.. i was just speaking to an advisor at a lhs and he said that hpi eu is supplying the whole world now as the main us warehouse has closed down, so the us is nicking all our stock!! cannot find this part anywhere!!

i see where your coming from mate and agree it is definitely not as easy as it looks and can be very rewarding. BUT have to say it is good fun when there is a few of u nailing it towards that ramp and there is complete carnage after the landing or landing a double flip jump with a monster truck or buggy

i can see why you all (mark,hebby and pat) are all getting into the flying side of the hobby it is very addictive. i was gutted my batteries run out on sunday (couldn't believe i got both batteries through it without crashing) and i was only hovering, just ordered a couple more batteries for the heli, i'm going to keep practicing what the teacher tought me the other week then when i have sussed it out go back for another 2 hour lesson because he was very good and i would recommend him to anyone wanting to fly a helicopter and has not got a clue (like me)

the drx is quite a bit bigger with the shell on than the wr8 and does feel really lite, even i was surprised how lite it was.. good buy there dave . cant wait to have a little challenge against u at 3 sisters..

thing was i was all the way home and unpacked before i realized so was atleast an hour or so getting back to it, well lucky.. i thought your lad was just saying see ya mate, i stuck the finger at him messing about.. serves me rite!!

How lucky am I.. Just got back from a great day out at the quarry, unloaded the car and realized I had left my bag with all my tools,lipos and dx4 in the car park back at the quarry. I quickly jumped back in the car shot down there and it was still sat there with some guy stood next to it saying he had been knocking on all the houses asking if it was there's.. Fluked it. Also managed 2 full lipos through the helicopter today without crashing and there was a bit of wind. Must admit I was only hovering but still better than the last couple of attempts

sorry i missed today guys i would not of been able to get there till about 2/2:30pm because of sorting the front garden out and with a few saying they were not staying late today it would of been pointless. hopefully next weekend will be nice again and we can make the most of summer while it lasts
