  1. suppose its the luck of the draw really, I've had zippys drop cells on me but been fine with nano's
  2. If your budget is tight I'd just go with hobbyking to start with. If you decide rc is for you then you can always upgrade at a later date. http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__41130__Turnigy_TrackStar_Waterproof_1_10_Brushless_Power_System_4000KV_80A_UK_Warehouse_.html http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__34306__Turnigy_nano_tech_5000mah_2S3P_30_60C_Hardcase_Saddle_Lipo_Pack_ROAR_APPROVED_UK_Warehouse_.html http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__62952__TrackStarTS_410MGDigital1_10ScaleShortCourseSteeringServo62g_9_45kg_0_13sec_UK_Warehouse_.html
  3. What about this http://www.rccarshop.co.uk/index.php/rtr-models/td102019-team-durango-desc210-race-ready-rtr-blue.html its cheaper than the buggy
  4. Possibly even a kit kat too What condition are your pads in also ?
  5. Here I have for sale my k1 this was bought in haste and ive since decided to concentrate on 2wd, its been used for 5x 4min heats indoor on carpet (hence the foam tyres) so is still as new it will come with no electrics or servo and the carbon wing will be removed , the original clear one (still in packet) will be in the box along with the manual.
  6. Sorry mate, they dont have a micro/mini heat only mardave, gt12 and 1/10. Why not bring the centro? Not everyone is running foams but the majority are,
  7. Tbh its not normally that bad, usually about 8 per heat but on a busy night about 10, I understand what you mean about the foams but I'll hold my hand up I'm running them too, gotto say its gained me another lap or two, but with the lack of jumps etc theirs no reason not to run them as their cheaper and last longer than pins.
  8. I think that was cos of the traffic/accident on motorway last week, hopefully be back to 3 heats and a final tomorrow.
  9. Hebby mate, get yourself down to rvrccc on a friday night its a good laugh, not the best races but its no pressure and good for beginners, iv'e been going since the mrs said she was pregnant and I realised my bashing days are on hold. Doors open at 6.30 till 10.30
  10. Well lads, thats my bashing days finished.. just sold my leccy buggy so now only got 1/10 racers. Maybe when baby is old enough I'll get another and bring him along. I'll keep an eye on 3sis section and maybe have a ride up in summer to catch up with you all.
  11. See you on friday, its been a while.. ive still got the b44.1 but have just bought a kf so will be giving that a run out.
