  1. So it looks like the Overlander RC-D100 has dual channels so i could charge both a 6V RX pack and a 7.2V stick pack at the same time. I have to question if i really need that as my stick packs are only used to start the engine!
  2. Thanks for the reply. I think that was my problem, i have left the batteries dead for too long, mainly because it was annoying to get 3 chargers out (i forgot about the glow igniter also) to keep them charged. I bought a new stick pack and RX pack a couple of years ago and have charged them less than 5 times so they are new really! Sorry, i forgot the RC pack was 6V and a stick pack was 7.2V so no charging at the same time. I think i need something along the lines of the Core RC charger to keep them in good condition and make me not so lazy!
  3. Hi guys I have been a member here for a long time now but a house move and diy meant i had to put my RC away for a while. I have a Traxxas Revo 3.3 which i love and have owned for a while. I got it out with a friend the other day and managed a total run time of about 5 mintues due to all my reciever battery packs being dead, even after a charge. Also my stick pack to run the EZ Start was pretty much dead. I currently run 2 chargers, a old cheap ripmax pro-peak charger for the EZ-Start packs and the standard traxxas charger for the reciever. What i want advice on is what charger to buy as i need to buy a couple of new batteries and dont want this to happen again. I dont run my RC an awful lot through the year as i'm too busy but i want to be able to use it when i actaully can. If this means spending more on a charger to look after it thats fine. I had a quick look around and see a couple but i dont really know what i'm looking at. Is the core UAC 50 the correct thing? Can this charge my stick pack and reciever pack at the same time? Is that even possible?! I want a charger that does a bit more and actually looks after my batteries as i have no idea what condition they are in otherwise. Also, is it worth switching to lithium? The batteries seem double the price and not sure it's worth it for the amount of time i use it. So many questions. Thanks all Mat
  4. That's a shame. Thanks for letting me know.
  5. I got rid of the EZ start system years ago, As said the glow side was terrible and wanted to free up space on the chassis so fitted a pull start. I'm not the best tuner so it's not always easy to start with the pull for me, Actually gave me a blister last week. I don't mind carrying the extra battery. I have my own field to bash in so don't have to go far from the house.
  6. Wow, Was this really over 2 years ago!?
  7. Hi guys Been out of the RC game for a couple of years now as i moved/rebuilt a house. Now having a bit more time to myself and with my own bashing field i have got my Revo 3.3 out of storage. I need a couple of suspension parts but thats easy. However i'm looking at going to roto start now as i'm sick of the pull start. The HPI Roto Start system seems good but there are a few versions and I'm not sure what version to go for so the back plate fits my TRX 3.3 engine? I know it's the same as the 2.5, 2.5r etc but none of them list they fit that either. Any ideas? Cheers Mat
  8. Busy this weekend sorry. House viewing and sorting stuff out on the new one. Might fit the F1 & BTCC in there!
  9. I might be a little late. After 1 I think.

  11. Is there good parking at Nunney?
  12. Man, I should have had that cage now. It looks great! Anyway, Thats a strange one. Are you using the standard rear mounts at all? It looks like it could do with some packing where the screws go down though the wing mount.
