  1. Um correct me if I'm wrong but isn't mineral oil used for oiling chainsaw chains and hedge trimmers and things like that (not the engine but the actual tool part)? Lee.
  2. Get one of these; http://www.diy.com/nav/garden/garden-power-tools/garden-power-accessories/mixing_bottles/B-and-Q-2-Stroke-Fuel-Mixing-Bottle-1L-9219178?skuId=9228877
  3. As far as I'm aware, it's pretty much the same stuff, only difference been the kart engines are bigger. Of course I only do rental karting so one of the karters on here could probably answer better. Lee.
  4. There's no need to get snotty. It's not hard, or expensive to put Align parts on a clone helicopter. Replace the canopy, skids, the tail boom and possibly the head and it could easily be mistaken for an Align helicopter. Also, the frame is about the only bit to stay intact during a crash, I've seen helis have huge crashes and frame has been fine so why would it need to be replaced? It's the strongest and most protected part of the whole helicopter, so it's unlikely to have been an Align part replaced with a clone part. Why replace carbon fiber with alloy? It doesn't make sense, carbon fiber is lighter and as strong, if not stronger than alloy so what's the point? Lee.
  5. The Loctite stuff that OP posted is the stuff I use too lol. Got a tube in my toolbox. It's great. I recommend you wear gloves though, takes an age to get it off your hands lol.
  6. Bit specific I know, but I need a cheap, oldish laptop that has a parallel port built in. The reason being I am quickly getting hooked into Scalextric and need a laptop with parallel port for computerized live timing, preferably running Windows XP. I'll have about
  7. I have to say I like the new bodyshell HPI have done, that's quite nice. Enjoy her mate.
  8. The Align kits come with a Carbon Fibre frame, that's alloy, so to me it looks like a clone, possibly a HK 450 with a few Align bits. Lee.
  9. LMAO someone else is a fan of Family Guy.
  10. I haven't seen any of the Paranormal Activity films yet, need to get round to doing so as I do enjoy horror films. I like zombie films too, especially the 28 days/28 weeks films, they're brilliant. I like I am Legend too. Lee.
  11. I don't at the moment, I did have a job through an agency working in Despatch for a print firm until March when 2 of the sites shut down that I worked at, with one remaining but because I wasn't known at the remaining site, they stopped giving me shifts and because the agency didn't have work anywhere else, I had to go back on JSA. I hate it, as I hate been skint. I am currently trying very hard to find another job, particularly as I may be moving in with my girlfriend when she gets a flat and the money will help so that's where I am at the moment. I'm actually lucky I got a head start looking for another job actually, as my work mates that do work at the remaining site are now lucky if they get one shift a week and it's apparently going downhill fast. Lee.
  12. Exactly. I'd be happy to help if you're in Wakefield area. Lee.
  13. Oh dear. If you have run the car without an air filter, fine particles of dirt may have gotten in and you may have permanently damaged the crankshaft, piston and engine liner. HPI WILL NOT replace or repair an engine that has been run without an air filter. You might need a new engine. Lee.
  14. Have you checked the needle settings and the idle gap? Make sure there's a 1mm gap between the carb body and the slider and reset the needles to factory settings. Lee.
  15. Suzuki GSXR 750 SRAD injection model;
  16. What's wrong with the Spektrum DX3/4S? How about some lights that turn on automatically when it gets dark? All I can think of at the moment lol. Lee.
  17. Now I've got that out the way, this was all I could find; http://www.go-engine.com/pdt_view.asp?sn=35&area=1&cat=8 Lee.
  18. By the way, is it just me or does the front drive shaft look bent to anyone else? Perhaps you should spend more time checking the car over for things like this than deliberating over whether or not fuel was included. If the drive shaft is bent, that's a pretty good indication of a high speed crash and I'd be checking the whole front end; Edit; upon inspection again the chassis brace looks a little bent too.
  19. For god sake it's only some bloody fuel! Man up and buy your bloody own, he didn't have to send it and usually courier companies won't send open fuel anyway, he probably checked this with the courier company he used before sending to make sure, it's what I would have done. You have the car so what's the problem? Even sending sealed bottles of fuel is problematic, it's why online retailers such as MS and JE will only send packages containing fuel via UK Mail, as they're about the only ones allowed to do so, it's also why I still have some Model Technics 25% in here after selling my Hyper ST, despite not having an rc at the moment. I don't believe he should be bad mouthed or receive bad feedback over this, he didn't send the fuel, so what? It's not the end of the world. You spent the money on the car so you should have some left to go to your LHS and buy some so put up and shut up! Lee.
  20. Not that I'm aware of, I know there's an onroad racing club in Halifax though; http://www.halifaxtrack.co.uk/
  21. Hi guys, got some stuff for sale so I can get a bit of cash. First up is my Gamecube with a 4mb mem card, 2 controllers (one unofficial), dk drums, 2 copies of donkey konga, medal of honour rising sun, burnout, spider man and minority report. All working perfectly.
  22. One of the most epic videos I've ever seen. Turbo charged drifting motorcycles and cars, a big dune buggy, quadcopter, an Align T Rex doing 3D flight. This has it all. Sit back and enjoy.
  23. This thread still floating about? I use one of these now, no rc vids but I use it for karting; http://www.amazon.co.uk/Midland-XTC-100-Ultra-Action-Camera/dp/B0042ET9LQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373394585&sr=8-1&keywords=midland+xtc+100
