Personaly i hate reverse ESC, even when just bashing. So if i was you i would go with forward/brake. But then thats just personal preferance.

Hi, i was just wondering how you would go about recovering pictures and files from a laptop with not display. (It got chucked out of a 2nd story window btw, not by me though). Anyway the screen is completly smashed but it does power up and it sounds as if the HDD starts spinning aswell. If i take the HHD out of the laptop can i connect it to my normal PC and recover the material from there or is there some other way of doing it. Thanks.

Checked the bearings? Make sure theres nothing stopping them from working properly, and that there fitted correctly. Also just check that there in good condition.

You sure its spinning freely? Have you taken it apart and had a quick looky inside?

The pinion is the one you want to change. For bashing there probably wont be any reason to change the spur (the big gear) unless its damaged. Just make sure you mesh the gears properly after everytime you change the pinion.

Certainly not, i never liked playing the actual story (1 player) Only liked it multiplayer.

Most spurs will tell you the pitch and tooth number on the actual spur. It will probably be 48dp

As its a 19t limit ESC dont be supprised if the esc gets a little warm. You may also want to buy a couple of pinions to tinker with the gearing abit.

Alexi, just buy a cheap suitcase on ebay, maybe a faulty one, as they will be chips. Just make sure the handle is in tact. Wheels, you can prob get from homebase or B&Q or something. Shouldnt cost much at all.

Maybe you could have some big air filled tyres, and make them removable so you can have the ramp flush to the ground when using it, but when moving it, its quite high up. Have the handle on the tall side so it can stick out.

I made a storage case for my Rc on my A-level project. For the handle i got a retractable handle from a suitcase. They work really well, and easy (although time consuming) to put on.

It could be that the voltage spikes are just to strong for the diode. Maybe add another one, or go down to an electronics store and get a higher rating diode (im not sure how they rate them).

If its crakced im pretty sure they dont work? Ive never had that problem to be honest. Sorry to ask, but are you sure your putting them on the correct way? When you put them on the wrong way they crack and split apart.
