  1. I would doubt any Home/House insurance covers any form of RC use Anywhere, its not for that at all,as already said, for the cost involved, its not worth not having it,claims can soon get way out of most peoples pockets very quick,so really it is a good idea to have it,but you don't have too for bashing,as a club member, its required if you want to race etc. Goldman

  5. Hi,that is how the failsafe should work,ie,if you loose TX Signal,it puts brake on,most RC sets have built in failsafe as standard, what you really need is a killswitch on a petrol car, this kills the engine,if the signal is lost&also if your receiver battery fails,a failsafe wont work if the battery fails.Have a look on here about switchblade killswitch, using the search button. 17. Blue is a medium strength Loctite, and should only need handtools to remove parts that it is used on,reg/green are strong,& you would find heat is used to soften it prior to removing nut/bolts that its been used on.Whats best to use depends on where Or what the nuts/bolts are holding togeather etc. Goldman
  18. Yes it does sort of get a bit that way, just had a go on mine,as I said using the first button you set it to lipo mode, then set the charge mode with the second button,in storage mode the max discharge rate is one amp,you use both sets of leads on your battery, the charger is set to two hours, but you can change this in any mode,to more,or less time, the best way I found was to have the book in front of me with the charger plugged in,but no battery on,and run through the different programs etc, that way you get to try it all without doing any harm to a battery.
