Yeah Revo's are very nice, there monster trucks but on a very different scale, they lean towards a truggy but still keep MS status. I've had a savage 25 and a Revo and i have to admit, the revo wins it for me TBH ive not seen the revo platinum, i guess its a new revision ? Its gonna be the same as the 3.3 but with some hopups ?

Well yeah, MarioKart, etc but you can add friends and they supposedly appear in your "Mii" channel too ...

God knows why the fella did that ! The hump pack should have a 3 pin plug (only two are used/filled) that would have been fine, but for some reason hes chopped it off and replaced it with the 4aa battery holder lead ! (that red connector) The red connector should lead to a 3 pin socket that plugs into the reciever. but that doesnt have anything to do with fitting a fail safe. Failsafe plugs one end into the servo wire and the other end into the reciever, nothing to do with the battery pack.

The reason its hard to start is because your running it on factory recommended settings ... havnt you tuned it ? Screw the LSN clockwise 1/4th so its easier to start then continue to tune it. Ie ... Start with the HSN - go in 1/8th increments checking that theres plenty smoke and performace is increasing with each turn, when it stops producing smoke and no performance increase is noticed, thats the HSN tuned , if i were you i'd unscrew it 1/8th from there so it runs slightly rich untill you get used to tuning properly. The LSN probs wont need much tuning. the Idle will need to be adjusted, just make sure its enough to keep a high idle without it moving by itself. P.S. Tornado 25% will be fine in your engine. Midi, dont advice people to do things that arnt correct, doing this will only end him up with a bad start for tuning. I'm sure the guy isnt a racer !

Mario Kart is great as is Mario Galaxy, ravin rabbids 1 and 2 are great too even thought they might look silly there great party games. Yeah ya do need a battery for the EZ start. Your gonna love the revo though there very nice trucks let us know how ya get on mate.

Either take the pull start off and clean the OWB and the shaft or spray loads of WD-40 down the back, it usually breaks up the gunk.

yeah 3rd channel is for the reverse switch on the hand grip Like i said though, most people tend to convert to FOC (forward only conversion) it basically just removes the reverse gears. Another note ... i'd run it on Byrons or Ondonnels as they dont like Tornado, not sure about other brands but tbh i'd stick to Byrons.

Revo's are excellent trucks, its got 2 speed with reverse as standard too, most people convert it to forward only though as one of the things that breaks on the revo is the Optidrive unit. I've heard a few people complain about the revo engine (3.3) but traxxass support is 2nd to none, so dont let that put you off. Revo's are very sensative to tune, most carbs you would tune in 1/8th increments but the revo is 1/16th. The break in process is also fairly long winded too compared to most but dont let any of this put you off, there excellent trucks, better than a Savage IMO and i've had both.

WD40 is the mutts nutts spray it all over it'll even make the plastic look nice n new, just wipe off the excess with a rag, i usually give the servos and everything a good seeing too.
