  1. Also check the drive train has no binding, try taking the pinion off and rolling to see how free the bearings are if its old. don't explain the led mind ... just a thought
  2. if u intend soldering lots spend a bit, 50w or more pref with temp adjustment but if its a one or two time job get a cheap'un
  3. Sometimes corrosion builds up on the terminal check there also, and on the esc terminals. That gives the symptoms u described too

I'll hunt about m8 give me till this evening sure Ive got at least one or 2 complete somewhere
  5. 150a constant draw esc would need at least 5200mah 30c giving you 156a constant discharge which is borderline ok. I'd personally look at 6000mah 30c giving 180a constant discharge Or 5000mah 40c giving 200a constant discharge just to give things head room. get ur sums wrong and batteries will swell or esc will pop :-/ correct me if I'm wrong anyone... every day is an education :-) Currently running 120a esc using 5200mah 30c giving me 36a's of headroom.
  6. Would you consider a 45min drive to meet me half way? I'm just this side of coventry? Leamington spa.. I think Bicester village is about half way, what u rekon? Thanks rich

  10. Personally Ive found myself using a 1:8 buggy for the majority of my bashing as the repair bill seems to a lot less than any 1:8 or 1:10 truck/truggy Ive used (especially those listed in my sig) and there's not a lot the buggy can't do in comparison, plus they handle and jump much nicer too. but as said its budget depending, good luck :-)
  11. having a clear out, ill take fees all prices to your door.. thanks for looking. ftx carnage b/l body in very good condition, light scratch on windscreen and post holes.
  12. Dex210 rtr, swap to 9.5t motor (limit) as the 13.5t ent so fast, change to mid 3 gearbox layout (all needed should be Included) set of proline road or dirt hawgs depending how adventurous u wana be and jobs a reasonably cheap one! great runners out the box bar the motor but ffs buy a tower set for spares! other models are available lol
