Hi So have build my TT01E, only the second model I have build from scratch (first being my Dark impact which I love). Am a bit dissapointed with the speed, am using the stock motor supplied with the model (Nissan Sumo Power). Which of the following would you experts choose as a replacement? (or others in same price range). Just so that you know initially I will be using the normal NIMH Tamiya type batteries so I want something that will work with them with a view to possibly going the Lipo route later. Should have mentioned also that I have already Ball raced it and added Oil Shocks and plan to get the Ally main shaft as well. Should I get the Ally steering linkages?

Should I be getting worried here? are they quite fragile? I only get to use my Stampede once a month so have only used it 3-4 times and not particularly vigorously......

Good plan, I will try that when I am next out. Am I right in thinking the ESC should be covered by the warranty (Bought it less than a year ago)?

Hi Yet another cry for help I'm afraid!! Still learning the ropes. The last 2 weekends I have used my stampede I have experienced a problem where it seems to die. The steering works and I can hear it make a noise when pressing the accelerator. if I give it a little push then off it goes until it stops and then I have to give it another little push to get it started. The weird thing is (in my head at least) this only seems to happen with my new battery. I bought a second battery which is exactly the same as the stock one, Traxxas 7 cell hump Nicad. Does this sound like it could be a battery issue? or is it mebby just coincidence that it seems to only happen with the new battery? Sorry Just realised that I should probablt have put this in the Leccy section

Hi So I bought some hex head screws for my dark impact and during removal of one of the old screws the head burred. I have read tips of dremelimg a slot for a flat head screwdriver to be used, problem is it is recessed into the rear shock tower. Any ideas?

Hi My first post, new to all of this :-) Recently upgraded my Lunchbox with metal bearings. Last night fitted my new shocks. Happy with the improvement from both For some reason I could not remove one of the front wheels. Does any one have a clue why this might be, the only thing I could think of is that one of the bearings is at a "funny angle" but this does not seem to be the case. It has not had any knocks and I was applying a fair amount of force in trying to get it off. Worked round it in the end so as not to break any thing! Should I maybe get some WD40 on it?
