Selling the SCZ engine not somthing I want to do but to make funds things have to go and both pipe and engine are up for sale. The engine has just had a rebuild with new gaskets. It's had around 8 hours run time. Carb not included nor is the v stack but everything else is. Any questions ask 370 ono

No need to remove plug and turn upside down and wait.. Remove the carb completely.. Then try start it should rev high then die.. put carb on Then try start it.

Best thing to do is what mark said.. Ive used wd40 on the odd occasion not loads tho. But had no issues with that.

What do you want to know... Put it this way for £280 it's the best engine I've ever had tons of power high revving. They em say it's pushing 9hp but I can't see it but it's got power all round.. I will post some videos soon when I get time. It's almost the same as a bzm and I believe parts are compatable with the scz engine.

Well I have resistance 100% on the fly wheel not sure on the pinch on piston will have to take head off and check. Guessing there not cheap for the mta new sleeve and piston

hi mate it seems to be an when i took the engine apart there was not scores on the piston or piston sleeve and the piston looked in really good condition. hardly used this engine. any good tips to check good compression i have done no more to the engine today since my last post but to me if its cutting out when i accelerate (not bogging) that's a lack of fuel no?

OK guys I have turned the LSN all the way out then started to leaned out in half turns till it started. I got to the point it was running fine but soon as I removed the glow start it died so I carried on leaning in small increments until i could remove the glow start and would idle fine. (30 second +) now when I accelerate it stalls no bogging just cuts out. so I continued to lean so its getting to the point I can throttle away but still dies am I heading in the right direction I still have lots of smoke and unburn fuel.

What is your LSN from carb wide open cheers.
