hiya Hatzy, yeah have done that, even put new plug in it like i said we have had it running now but doesnt seam to wanna run right no matter how we try and tune it. have tried rich and lean settings but to no avail

hi Guys, am after some help with tuning my friends savage x, took us an hour to get it started and running and now starts ok but is very slugish pulling off and sometimes stalls after pull off. have tried to tune it using my savage as a guide and has improved to some degree but still runs like ****! lol please help as was looking forward to having a bash over the local track lol

iv'e not had the need to replace the tyre's yet but have taken them off recently to give the rims a re-spray, as far as i can see the tyre's are the same as others you still have the foam inserts but to hold the tyre's on the rims you get some solid plastic rings that go inside the tyre (the width of the tyre) to cramp it together when the outer ring of the rims are screwed back on. i will take them off tomorrow and try with an old savage tyre and get back to you with a definite answer though.

@a7mag3ddon i brought these off someone on ebay a while ago and have had no probs running them on my savage 4.6, have no idea what make they are or where to get them from tho sorry but they do look good on the truck tho

Want to buy one, when i brought this car i was told it had one already fitted just wanted to know how to tell if what I was told and brought is correct and true, so when I come to selling u can list it correctly and try and get some good money for it so i can get a better car This is a 29cc engine

i do have most of the roll cage for this but am missing the central main part but now i know what car this is i should be able to find the bit im missing, only paid

cheers nitroholic and ravenguard, might just keep this one going and run it into the ground lol and then get some money saved and get one of the better ones, stick to bashing around with me savage lol cant copy them. well now i have an idea as to what make this is might be able to get some spares from somewhere now lol. what would be a good starter then? id love the HPI baja but just havent got the money at the mo as HPI stuff i cant fault!

cheers Hydro, whats your take on them? are they any good? have already replaced the servos with high torque steering and throttle/break ones as the servos that i got with it didnt look to good and replaced the rear diff and bevel gear as was slipping. took it out over the field at the weekend and it drives fine and shifts well just wondered if there was anything else that would be worth replacing? paul

hiya all, have just made the step up into 1/5 scale RC with this car i brought secondhand, was told its an MCD clone! but am not to sure have tried looking on various sites to find parts but they all look similar, just need to know for spare parts and yes i know its not one of the best out there to have but didn't wanna go and get a high end car and then bugger it up lol so thought id start off at the bottom and work my way up so to speak. any help will be gratefully appreciated Paul
