  1. Thanks suicide neil dont know why i didnt just do that!!!
  2. I have heard that else where that is why I asked. But good to hear from another that it is best to buy as seperates. After only having a small hunt around. It seems it is harder to get hold of as separates on chrome. Any links you have to hand? So I can compare cost difference.
  3. Did you buy the pre-glued?
  4. Thanks for reply mate. Can't be bothered to scroll through it all now but will read up some other time to see what he thinks of them. But will they handle some hard cornering?
  5. Anyone had any experience with these? Just after a bit of feedback as am thinking of eventually getting some for my trophy truggy flux for some lit up evening car park fun and was curious to how they hold up as i dont wanna have to replace them after an hour or two of use. I was thinking of turning my throttle punch down a bit whilst running them or maybe even dropping to a single 2s or run them in parallel si i dont wear them out as quick on acceleration. What do you guys think? I seen this and makes me want them even more:-
  6. Wanted to try out my photobucket app so here is a pic of what i was on about in last post but in place. And here is it removed, you cant really see split very well on suspension holder and there is few other parts i broke aswell (different run)
  7. Hey guys. My first post in this section as i am now a proud owner of s broken trophy truggy flux. Think i am a but too daring for a noob. Waiting on some alu steering knuckles from ebay. Has anyone had the front suspension holder split? Looks like a stone was pulled in under drive cup and pushed suspension holder down and bent holding screw whilst splitting the holder itself? Kind of unlucky i guess. Can someone tell me if to do the buggy wheel hex upgrade i can just buy these:- http://www.hpieurope.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=101792 And replace existing? (read about the allen grub screws being tight as a nuns chuff but will tive it a whirl) Wont be doing as yet just wanna few more runs without breaking anything first

    What charger?

So the fusion would be a safe bet then you reckon? Suicideneil I did read the spec and have looked at that charger before. I know it is 240 and 12v but was asking if anybody knew I it came with LEADS for 240 and another lead for 12v (cig lighter plug). Sorry if I didn't make myself very clear. I'm sure you weren't having a dig but just wanted to clarify what I meant as you must have misunderstood what I meant. I didn't really wanna spend

    What charger?

Ok the tamco seems a bit cheap. And would rather invest in something a bit more reputable. I keep hearing about the IMAX b6. But still not convinced. The fusion on the other hand I can't seem to find any info. I know someone who has one and swears by it. But is it worth the extra pennies over the IMAX? And does it come with 240 and 12v power leads?
  10. Hi all I am looking for a do all charger. I will want it at present to charge losi micro lipo 2s 300mah, losi micro 4.8v 220mah nimh at present. But also to charge glow starter, reciever pack and roto start batt when I get my savage in next month or two. I would also like to be able to charge 3s lipos in a reasonable time in future. So basically I am after a do-all charger, not sure how much I wanna spend on one yet. Just wondered what you guys recommend. Also 12v and 240v input.
  11. But what about the price new??!!! I can only afford to buy an mt with the sale of my triumph speedy. After that all my money has to go into my wedding for november and then after to pay off any overdraft and rest of loan for bike. As some of you will know, weddings are more expensive than you originally budget for. So..... Ideally was looking to buy new for the obvious reasons of warranty (don't wanna have to fork out for a new engine after a couple of runs) and something that hasn't been bodged up somewhere. I wouldn't rule out a second hander but would have to be a good price. And to me the
  12. I was actually looking at that ebay item earlier this evening. You say its overpriced but to buy new is
  13. Thanks for your responses guys I think I am bring sold on the lst. Will obviously keep trying to find out as much as I can till have funds to buy. Other than engine mount (which sounds a must have) is there anything else worth buying at same time as truck like a skid pan or anything? Is the xxl much bigger than savage x? Or am I to believe its more the size of the savage xl?
  14. So your recommend it over the savage and revo? I will only be able to afford 1 large purchase for probably a year maybe just over so am looking for a buy I will be happy with for that long at least. I understand it is nearly
  15. Hi all I am in the market to purchase my first mt (noob) have spotted the losi lst xxl, can anyone tell me what the durability and build quality of these is like compared to say a savage or revo? Also spares and upgrade options? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
  16. Wow! Forgot about this thread. Problem was gearbox screws need to be loosened slightly as it binds gear too tight. Common problem with these so i have discovered from another forum
  17. Hope you enjoy the truck mate. I am looking at getting a savage. Although still in the "revo 3.3 or savage x?" I hope too get the cash up in next month or two. Keep updated on your views of it.
  18. Bump! Anyone got one of these or had similar?
  19. Hi all, got a micro high roller for Xmas and since have only ran about 10-12 charges worth. I changed the motor pinion to the largest one and it went great (all standard) but next time I went to use it. It seems sluggish and the tranny seems stiff. I removed motor and it still seemed to have sticking points,as thought it may have been where I put pinion too tight to spur. I stripped out transmission and all looks fine. A dollop of grease and all back together but still same problem. Think I may just order a ready built transmission (
  20. I will remember that mate. May not be till April when I get one yet. Keysham is only a quick blast down ring road.
  21. Just a quick hello from a newbie to rc and forum. Always wanted a good rc when was a kid but never had money to get into it. After lots of consideration have decided to sell my motorbike due to expense of just having it as a toy. (not sold yet) I got a micro high roller from my fianc
