    yes i have tried that, whenever i try sorting the idle out it just cuts off. i have now replaced all the springs and shoes so hopefully it is ok now. just need to try it out, will come back to update. cheers

    hi people, my savage xl wheels kept moving when it was idling so i adjusted the idle screw but it just cuts off when i try fix it. so i checked the clutch and one of the springs snapped, i just changed that spring but the same problem is still happening. can anyone help please.

    ok cheers for the info, its just that ive heard that you can actually run your car better if you do something to the head so you wont need to use the washer. something along the lines of that

    getting the shoes off is not a problem, its putting the shoes back on that is. it took me ages last time and i just gave up and got a clutch remover to do it for me but i got rid of all my nitros a few months back and now im back again.
