[HPI Vorza Flux not working]

Hello,

 

I purchased a Vorza flux from eBay a couple of years ago, I didn't bother to test it after I bought I was in a hospital or 3 months after I bought it. Today I got it out to set it up, the steering works but the ESC isn't arming I don't think, and just flashed green.

 

There is some damage to the motor so I'm tempted to replace it as I think that may be the culprit, it turns over ok though.

The Savox 1283sg makes 30kg of torque at 6v but is a bit over your budget new. I have had a couple of these for few years they are very tough (like all savox servos).

 

I'd say the 1256tg is plenty though for a normal truggy.

I think the .28 model is available for £249 from modelsport U.K. I've not owned a Hobao engine so can't comment on which is best.

Yeah, I put a pack through it earlier. would have run it longer but i only have one set off 2s lipos on me atm.

probably just as well, the RTR comes with a 3665 leopard 2 pole, great for general bashing but its not nuts.

Just got back from Oxshott, it's completely dry even the middle of the oval.

Haha yeah I'll try not to, I'm only really taking it there to break-in stuff like the new shocks new piston ring and oil seals etc.

I don't have a budget, I'm looking for the right car. I'd rather pay good money for a car in great nick than less for one which needs a lot of money/time spending on it.
