  1. gutted to see it go but it must http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=261071116468 offers around
  2. Dont know what other people are on about. I have a Sandrail/Baja 5b transmitter system and my speky dx3 has NEVER let me down. Doesn't drink batteries. Allows 150metres + range after that I get slight delay or my Killer Bee cuts my engine. I dont have the version with telemetry just ordinary controller etc. They are not the best out there but they are worth the money.
  3. Not sure mate most people like myself are getting their Bajas rebuilt fresh for the Big Bash Fest in August this year. Will probably have another meet but I be the camera man for the day lol. Will let you peeps know on here. Info on the Bank Holiday Bash Fest 2012 can be found at www.baja-forum.co.uk in the organised events section. Sent via Windows Phone
  4. Was a great day 6 Baja's turned up Sunday (17-6-12)
  5. Yes we have 3 confirmed people but if you can make it coxy it will be 4 cars. Others non Baja or Baja welcome. Meeting at the Bawsey sand hills from 12 onwards. Hopefully the weather is not to wet.
  6. (Bawsey Baja Group are in the process of organising a meet at Bawsey Sand Hills for Sunday afternoon on the 17th June) More Soon....
  7. Mostly tarmac busters, yes, some run worn out stock dirt busters but they wear rapidly when the track is dry and warmer.
  8. Thanks to people who turned up today was bit wet for track running but not a bad day.
  9. thanks from Bawsey Baja Group to the one guy that came to the March track today. Was a bit dissapointing with the weather and the track layout has been changed but wasn't a bad day. Will get a meet setup at bawsey sand hills soon. That is the big daddy to attend.
  10. Unfortunately its private land as stated in the group thread. You will have to speak to Rob on the day. See the Bawsey Thread for more details.
  11. hey guys. Don't know if anybody is interested but Bawsey Baja Group is organising a trackday tarmac meet on the bank holiday monday 4th june. all cars welcome See the Bawsey Baja Meetups page for more info.
  12. Cool bud. Any cars/people welcome. The date set at the moment is the 4th June. Time is probably from 11am onwards or whenever Rob gets down to open the gates and have a clear up/sweep fof the track. Though I think Rob who organises the track days is suggesting that those non Baja cars running will have there own session too. (E.g- small scale nitro, electric etc). Probably when all us bajas are fixing ours up lol. I'll be running my sandrail so there might be half the paint off it on the track lol. Gonna try lower it somehow if i can and its quite soft in the corners on road.
  13. Hey guys the Bawsey baja group are planning a tarmac track meet at the march track. (see link above for location directions) will give a confirmed date but its planned for bank holiday Monday 4th.
  14. sorry i am new to electric? so figures mean nothing to me? lol so basically my motor will be slow? Also need help finding a motor bracket that will fit my car and motor. Its for a 1/8 or 1/10 kyosho spider touring car I am kinda DIY ing it from a nitro to a cheap quick ish electric. on a budget.
  15. hi there people, I have a 540 32 turn brushed motor hopefully running on a 300A esc suitable for the motor according to the advert. I think my spur gear has 46 or 48 teeth and was wondering what number teeth shall i go for off the motor. I want low end to mid torque as will be using on a old go kart track so not much flat out. any ideas would be great chaps. thanks
  16. Cheers for positive replies. The next one will be announced here as yet i won't be going for a while as I need to do some carb maintenance and strip and clean my sand rail. Prob couple of weeks. We run mostly Sundays anyway so not a problem. We haven't been down the March tarmac track for over 6 months now so think that may be the next meet. I travel a good 25 miles to the tarmac track and back so good 50 mile trip.. Have to agree thought cost of traveling is now ridiculous with fuel duty rising. Be good to see you there. Matt.c- you could try tying a couple of dumbbells to the side of the car that might make it more stable?
  17. Was a good day 1st April.. only 4 baja's video below
  18. OK we have 3 peeps including me meeting on sunday others are welcome. HOWEVER... There is a change of plan of location as the Grass Bowl location I have recently heard is a no go area due to noise complaints from neighboring houses. We are now meeting at the sand hills which is alot easier to find, park and is more fun TRUST ME! Come on peeps be good to get a few cars there
  19. Ok seems at the moment people aint sure what they are doing. . With regards to the March track there is a seperate area cut off from the normal track we use that could be used as well.
  20. Hey Peeps. A meet has been planned at the Bawsey Grass Bowl for the 1st April with a track marked out with some pipe. so some good off road racing hopefully. Just need a few more regulars and it should be all systems go. The terrain is good flat mossy/grass/sand and guessing very dry. Anybody up for this. Thetford gang? Directions on how to get there are on the links. Its the B1145 just off Queen Elizabeth Road outside KingsLynn. Any queries just ask me. I can go more detail
