  8. i looked at car and looks like taking the engine of the mount is easiest way to get to it and think i'll need to order a bearing set to fix it so i'll have as good a look as i can, i dont think anything on the other side of the clutch bell, it can only slide bout 3-4 mm, it just seems as if the screw and bearing on the exposed side have fell off
  9. hey guys new to nitro and did an inspection on my mta4 s28 and have noticed something has fell off or wasnt even there. anyway the clutch bell has a bearing and held on by a screw and washer, with these missing it cand slide back and forth a little. now ive been having problems with pulling away and stalling could this be a cause, cheers, rusty.
  10. Looked at nano tech but none in the Europe warehouse, need to check and see wot wattage my solder iron is now, cheers for all the advice, any of u's recommend a charger too and i c they dont come with power adapter but think I'll have something lying around to fot one from there
  11. Cool thanks, looking on hobbyking, at them, and when u's speak of punch u mean acceleration ?, there is quite a few I like and get them a lot cheaper too, just need to change some plugs somewhere as most them come with big bullets
  12. I read the thread at the top bout the Lipo, I'm looking into a few turnigy ones as peole on here mostly say u get tue biggest bang for your buck, I no I'm getting 4s but when u get a high Mih with less cells this provides longer runtimes but lower speed ?, and one with Mih and more cells provides more speed ?, just trying to figure best thing for bashing, cheers, rusty.
  13. Cool al try that, i just noticed that when I first used em the car wheelspun and now doesn't so al see what I can do , cheers , rusty.
  14. Hey guys, I have replaced my sons faulty tx after Xmas, anyway after that, I've noticed the car isn't quick off the mark now nor top end either, I'm new and had charged the to nimh packs at the wrong ampage, the batteries are 2000 and 2200, I had charged them at 5 amps, could I have ruined them by doin this or could it be something else, they only got charged 2-3 times each like this
  15. I don't mind the bullets but there 5.5 mm and can't even see adapter leads so easiest thing I see is too solder deans on ?

Got a question about when engine is running, after I start it and try to pull away it conks out, I no the idle needle is set correct, I've did the pinch test with the lsn and I'm pretty sure lsn is set ok I'm running kinda rich as its winter, I was advised to so I did it, anyway as its so cold rite now will the engine be prone to this in cold or could it be something else, I'm new to rc so still learning, and another thing it takes quite a bit of revving to pull away, any suggestions ?
  17. On the esc its a deans connection, that's why I asked whether u can snip bullets off and solder deans on ?
  18. hi guys looking into lipo batteries and im new so bear with me, been looking to get these batteries and charger and have a few questionsc the battery says it has 5.5 bullet connections , do you have to get a bettery adapter for the 5.5 bullet to deans for the car and 5.5 bullet to 4mm banana for charger or can u chop the 5.5 and just attach your own deans ?, just trying to find an easy way of linking these these are the batteries im looking and charger what do u gus think ? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__14472__Turnigy_5000mAh_4S_40C_Lipo_Pack_DE_Warehouse_.html http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__14472__Turnigy_5000mAh_4S_40C_Lipo_Pack_DE_Warehouse_.html
  19. im new to this so bear with me, how do u / or do u even have to adjust the spring at the spur gear and how do you no if it is set right, its and electric truggy i have
  20. I'm not savvi enough to strip a nitro n covert then u have to wait to redeem ur cash from engine, I'm new an wanna start easy, the e-revo is too expensive for me and can't find one for sale, I do like the hpi trophy truggy but read in numerous posts that the mt4 is a tank and has massive wheels for being great with the bumps
