  2. Thansk for all the tips just order some gorilla extra wide tape from amazon so will be with me tomorrow I did order some glue and this 1 has 2 tips so was hoping that may also help I watched a few YouTube videos (sound like my kids now lol) that showed the same way to apply the glue as you suggested the wheels have **** up in price as I paid about a £10 less than the below Link I don't know how good they will be buy did see a lad on YouTube doing speed runs with his kraton and he seemed pretty happy with them https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/0.html?spm=a2g0s.9042647.0.0.HmH8OF&orderId=89746571426496&productId=1980469461 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  3. just had delivered some cheap wheel and tyres from ali express could not say no @ £40 for a set of 4 anyway they are unmounted as requested and seeing as my kraton loves ballooning my tyres to the size of dinner plates (they ripped the hell out of my stock tyres) what is the best practice when fitting tyres my plan was to duct tape the inside of the tyres fill the hole in the wheels and put 2 to 3 small holes in the tyres itself any tips or tricks or other suggestions to help prevent tyres ballooning and dropping down to 4s is not an option lol i have only fitted tyres once and that was years ago on my savage and made a mess or the tyres and wheels with glue but they did hold fine so also any tips to make my tyre fitting a little less messy thanks
  4. sorry bud completely forgot i just done some for you now mate if you need anymore let me know and pop more up
  5. Finally had a good bit of snow over Swindon yesterday so after work today got the kraton out first time for me with an RC in the snow and boy what fun how do you guys record and drive at same time? also once i got home the whole chassis was in bedded with snow is there a way to minimise this i know the kraton is waterproof but nice to eliminate some of the snow that sits in the chassis
  6. i will get some other pic's for you over the coming days if not by weekend send me a reminder mate
  7. thanks all the wheel base on the kraton is 377mm i think it may suit other cars better than the MT but it does work well very little cutting was needed as well @ 37 years old and i have to be honest i do enjoy watching the Cars movies myself
  8. had a little play with a push along 20" kids cars toy of lightning mcqueen on my kraton and worked out pretty well if anyone is interested it was from Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Disney-FBN52-20-Inch-Lightning-McQueen/dp/B01KGGSV80 i might also do the jackson one as well
  9. Installed a savox 1210 today and problem is fixed will invest in 1 or 2 of the suggest servos above as backup Thanks for the help all Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  10. 99% its the servo whats that one like?
  11. forgot to add if no power is added i can freely move the servo left and right fully but if i add power from centre i can left and right back to the centre but it wont allow me past centre to the right
  12. hi just come back from a little run about and just before i come back the steering locked up to the left no hard bashing just a few runs up and down the tarmac no impacts at all so no real reason for it to happen its a v3 kraton i have stripped it back and seems to be an issue with the servo i think pretty new to rc had a savage 6/7 years ago so i have a little knowledge from back then all connections are fine and no broken wires either i have reset all end points just in case and also checked the trims i have removed the servo and with nothing connected apart from power and the horn if i turn right there is no input if i turn left it works but wont turn right at any point if i manually turn it fully right when off when turning on it will centre itself if i manually turn it fully left when off when turning on it will not centre itself the servo seems fine tho no grinding like i have stripped a gear seems strange any suggestions that i can try out to pin point what the issue maybe
  13. it could also be that as well being the safety timer as never changed it from new so not sure what its set to it does seem to be on the 1hr mark every time i will check it on the next charge and also go over the settings as well
  14. could be right as charge rate is between 1c and 3c with a max of 5c i was just about putting half a c in at 4a
  15. will have to hold out for a little while been spending loads on the rc this week wheels cost me £80 for terrain crushers and some other bits n bobs need to keep the other half sweet so may book the family summer holiday and then go spends again lol
  16. hah got me looking at theses now UP120AC
  17. i did think about a charger that could charge both my lipos at the same time but not really looked into it any suggestions on any thats not mega money and would is require a external PSU as well? pretty sure i had a overland charger when i had my savage flux and never had any issues with that over the years thinking back wish i didnt sell it all would have saved me a few £ now i only have 6 lipos at the moment lol but only got back into RC again at the end of December
  18. i have not had any warnings for a cell being dropped ect but will keep a closer eye on it i will try the method that OHO advised and see how that pans out i think i need to get a better charger as well any suggestions on a sub £100 unit thats good
  19. i wasn't aware charging in normal with a balance lead plugged in would still balance at the end thats good to know this charger will only output 6A max so will start charging at 6A until i replace the charger see how that compares the 3.91 was each cell so 7.82 total
  20. i have 2x Gens ace 7600mAh 7.4V 50C 2S2P Lipo and oly a few weeks old i use a Core UAC 50 Charger to charge my lipo's up when i used to be into rc with my savage flux i would balance charge my packs say every 10 packs i have gone to do the same over the weekend on balance charge at 4A but they only charged to 3.91 and say done this happens with both lipos if i do a normal charge they charge fully fine i have some other 3s lipos that balance charge fine so can rule out the balancer being faulty i think anyone know why this could be doing that? is it due to them being a 2s2p lipos (never used a 2s2p pack before cheers Baz
  21. i have had the Kraton V3 since xmas brilliant bit of kit and very solid and fast 10x what my old savage flux was tyres are questionable as they balloon a lot on 6S the outcast tyres are meant to be better so may order some in or some terrain crushers as theses are banded and put thicker diff oil in the centre diff to stop all the power going to the fronts no breakages as yet and all i have lost is 1 shim clip
  22. i spotted it had the lifep04 charge option and the battery pack i was looking at is the same they do sell a 12v home charging part for it but cant find it anywhere sods law as could compare
