    You should really buy the star wars UCS sets that are currently available before they retire and are worth a tonne, it's both fun and an investment. The Red 5 x-wing, tie figher, slave ship, sand crawler and death star Give it a year and they will easily be worth double.

    Agreed it should have been faster considering how large they are, but I suppose they have a multitude of requests every day so as long as they arrive some time this week I shall forgive them Also that's a very nice looking kit, did you have it from new or did you fork out on ebay?

    Here is the clutch that came out of the car, a horrible horrible paddle clutch, great for launching the car, terrible for driving in general. The good news is it's quite a expensive clutch and it turns out that it's only been in the car for about 5000 miles so it will be easily sell-able to cover the cost of the swap.

    Yay got a email from Lego saying the missing pieces have been dispatched. I am glad I didn't give in and start the X wing now

    Just a small update. Every third Tuesday of a month there is a Japanese car meet at Reading gate retail park and from what I thought before going it's actually just a huge bunch of nice guys really passionate about their cars. Nothing chavy at all. Always nice to be surprised, here are some pictures of my car at the event. Also I am a little nervous today as I bought a clutch to replace the one thats currently in the car that creates such a huge judder at traffic speed I just don't like driving it around town. The car is currently booked in having the clutch changed over and the reason I am nervous is I hope it fixes the issue as the one I bought is meant to have a stock feel too it.

    Yeah so Lego have acknowledged the missing piece and I am waiting for dispatch confirmation. I am I thinking I should do the X-wing whilst I wait as it looks like such a awesome set.

    Me too, I was going to get one from the Lego store but they are sold out online so I couldn't Also sad times on the AT-AT front, turns out the set is missing a key piece so I have applied for them to send them out and fingers crossed it will be fast so I can start doing the star destroyer

    Right so I started the AT-AT this weekend, as the wife has been asking me to do all kind of odd jobs around the house (as they do) and I like to take my time with these sets I have only done around 3 bags:- These little mini-figures are pretty cool but if you notice they have small skirts that frankly are too fiddly for what they are!

      A puma conversion is easily done since its the same car underneath mk5 festa I think or the S reg type. There's some nice conversions online festa shape but puma bodywork lights ect.

      Don't care about the shape, it's just the ease of conversion that sounds fun. I will have a look into it as it's a T reg so should be the same :)
