  1. yes, I would choose the second, it has a faster turn time and more torque. Just check what number of teeth your stock servo has and the new one and check they are both the same, otherwise you will need a new servo arm
  2. Well if you have stock gearing it should be balanced, go up on teeth on the pinion or down on teeth on the spur will give you better top speed, but less acceleration. Lower teeth on the pinion or higher on the spur will give you better acceleration, but less acceleration. Change for what suits you best, whether open spaces (e.g fields, parks etc) or tighter spaces (tighter tracks, gardens etc) If you change either remember that you will have to re-mesh the gears so they are the right distance and angle to each other so there is no unnecessary ware on them.

  4. I find lack of money helps me not spend a lot of money but yeah this hobby can get really expensive and time consuming. Oh well, it's worth it most of the time

  9. Well this has been asked a lot of times and i suggest reading some of those threads aswell as this. For 300-350 i would suggest a hpi baja, km baja or marder. Marders are good starting cars and you will most likely get a fairly good one for
  10. For radios i would get a flysky gt3b or gt3c, both have model memory's, a lot of radios with screens now will have model memory. for a kit a baja would be more challenging or a scale kit, crawler or tamiya type.
  11. well, there is a fix for the switch problem http://www.msuk-foru...s/page__st__135 and the gt3c is better than the gt3b, the lipo in the gt3c is a good feature, the gt3c will cost about
  12. 2 995's will work well, just be careful because i have heard some copies are quite poor, the switch problem on the gt3c is a bit of a pita to fix, i have the gt3c and havent used it much but apart from the switch it seems a very good radio.
  13. are you trying to buy servos and radio gear of someone? if so this should be in the forsales section. or just looking for advice?

  16. i doubt that will fit into your stock mounts, but someone has done this before so it might, hong nor cars are good, dont know about there engines, it will use quite a bit more fuel, bigger engine=less revs so to get the same speed from a .21 on a 15t you would need a higher tooth pinion on a .36. probably louder but would be a deeper sound rather than a high pitched .21, 25% will be fine, 0s n0.8 should be ok, jp-3 will work fine but a jp-4 would be better. But i wouldnt go for a .36 because you wont go faster just have more torque, and a buggy wouldnt need that. I would go for a .28, or .30 LRP at most, they should give enough power and there is more choice available.

  18. yeah but could you hit it if it was going fullspeed and swerving?
  19. it could be pretty lethal, if it was fast, fpv and good radio there isnt much that could destroy it apart from the anti-rpg weapons.
  20. Jammin jp-4, heard nothing but praise for it.
  21. i am actually really tempted by this, as long as diffs arent cheese.
  22. looks and sounds horrible, and wont be good for the engines.
  23. no it wont fit, i would just stay with side exhaust, keep balance and the original design.
