  1. I have one of these, its grate fun little car, as said above its very lively on the rear end witch is grate on loose dirt/sand. Its perfect for a afternoon on the dirt tracks neer were we live. The only part ive broken so far is the right hand track rod riped the thred out after i cartwheeld after a bad landing from 2 ft high lump of dirt. Its grate value for money i may get the carnege to go with it at a later date. I have a few upgrades in mind but ill post about that "IF" my idea works and its not ftx stuff ill be puting in
  2. Those little TT engines are really bad hubby had a bx buggy witch is the same engine, thay really brake easy. Best thing to do would be to get a better engine if u like the car, fink hubby had a little losi engine in there till he broke the mounts for the suspension arms lol
  3. Hey guys Im thinking about asking santa for http://www.hpieurope.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=15250 Has any one got one and is it any good/ any issues? As i am thinking about geting hubby to pop it in my mta4 s50 as the s50 engine is not that grate really, the hpi engine has a lot more hp but a bit less torque, witch can be helped a little by tuned pipe setting. What do u lot think of this idea?
  4. If any one else is in ipswich, ive found a few good bashing spots. Landseer park, its very lumpy good for power full cars to jump and the bmx track if u have the balls for it Felixstowe on the sand dunes neer the land guard fort. Holluwells park there is a few spots for crawlers and 2 jump spots but electric only there orwell park on the river, good for large cars, petrol and powerfull nitro, lots of hill climb spots and jumps, the shore would be awsom for a petrol baja or monster truck. Me and hubby are norm in these spots at weekends so if u see us do speak to us.. Happy bashing
  5. Hi dave Tuneing any nitro engine should start at the factory setting witch are in the manual You need the idle gap in the carb about 1mm, you may have to relese the link rod from the servo to do it as i did with my s50. To tune it. Start with the high needle witch is the one on the top were the fuel line conects. Do this in small turns to the right about 1/8th at a time untill the truck stalls when u hit the gas. Then wind it bask 2/8ths to make sure you have enough lube. Then tune the low. The one on the end of the slideing part of the carb, do this in 1/8 turns to the right as with the high untill u lose power on launch then wind it back by 2/8th Leave the outher one alone as the mid is rarely tuched Do bare in mind that tuneing depends on air tep so you will be tweeking it a lot Hope this helped
