    Hi, I believe it has.
  3. Hi there, got an hpi trophy 3.5, very occasionally the throttle goes full open when I try to stop, causing some slight embarrassment with a local dog (it'll have nitro puppies) and a bit of laceration to me shins!! It's a 2.4ghz and batteries are good. Any ideas?

    STEERING SERVO

HI GUYS, GOT AN HPI TROPHY BUGGY AND THE STEERING SERVO HAS JUST PACKED UP. I TOOK IT APART AND THE WHITE PLASTIC GEARS HAVE STRIPPED. MY QUESTION IS CAN I GET AN 'UPRATED' VERSION OR JUST THE HPI REPLACEMENT? PART NO IS 'SF-10W'. THANKS FOR ANY INFO.
  6. Thanks for that, will give it a try
  7. hi guys, have done about 6 tanks with my hpi trophy buggy and still find it hard to start and get running correctly. with needles at factory settings its hard to start, and yes i am pretty sure i'm priming it correctly. also at factory settings the idle speed is WAY too high. both needles flush and 1mm gap set with idle screw. i have turned the lsn out about a turn to bring the idle down as the idle screw had no effect. starting to annoy me now! any ideas? p.s glow plugs are no5 and working ok.
  8. ok thanks. so for a starter box i need to change nothing then?
  9. hi, i blow down the exhaust till fuel reaches the carb although i find i have to take the pipe off the carb because it stops short of the carb (air lock?) so i prime till fuel comes out, pinch the pipe then refit to carb. it took 20 mins to get started yesterday. i keep taking the glow plug out and swap with another incase its flooding.
  10. hi guys, have tuned my trophy so it runs well but still find starting it quite difficult. was wondering if i bought a starter box or roto start, would it get the engine started easier? i know there are many reasons why an engine may not start well but plug/charge/ carb settings all good (is only 2 weeks old). also if i do get a box/roto would i need to remove the pull start? thanks for any input.
  11. thanks for that, will have a look
  12. Hi guys, new to the rc world, anyone recommend any nitro tracks in Surrey/ Sussex? Thanks
  13. hello guys, just bought a new trophy buggy 3.5, my first experience of a nitro. on the first tank it stalled every 30 secs or so. on the second tank now and found that it races its nackers off. tried adjusting idle screw to no effect either way. hadn't touched other carb screws but have now and got in a bit of a tizzy! could someone just guide me back to basics please??
