  1. Thanks, for your help, I think i have found what I need, I now realise that the HPI F4.6, Ansmann .28 and force .28 are all the same just different heat sinks. As far as I can see, there is no damage to any of the liner or the piston. There piston is still snug in the liner, but not siezed, there are no scores, scratches on the liner or piston. I think it is worth trying a new conrod, the engine was simple to strip, no problems, will give it a clean to ensure no other damage and order a new conrod. Any other advise?
  2. Help! I need to replace the con rod on an Ansmann Arne force .28 nitro engine. Whilst out bashing with my younger brother his engine stopped so I bought it home and stripped it right down, The piston and liner look fine and show no signs of seizing, However the con rod has shattered at the bottom connecting point to the crankshaft. I have tried looking for a new conrod online but cannot find the right one only the complete liner piton and conrod. Does anyone know where I can one or if another make will fit. Cheers, Greg
  3. The one currently fitted is 34mm with no grip, how does size effect performance?
  4. I will go and measure, back in a minute.
  5. Anyone suggest a flywheel? should any three pin one fit, have seen 34mm, 35mm, 37mm ones. Which ones are good, will last, not affect performance? help!
  6. Thanks for that, Not sure on the exact make of the starter box, but I will put a pic up if I can - Here it is. I am also hitting the drive belt and it is at this point when I just start to get contact with the flywheel but not enough!
  7. I have tried adjusting it, but can not get any better contact, fine lining it up just cant get it to lower enough or raise the starter wheel. Any suggestions on a flywheel? What size should the starter wheel be, ie its diameter so I can check if it is worn or not.
  8. After some help, trying to start my Vapor pro with RB S5 engine using starter box , but it just doesn't seem to engage the flywheel enough. Don't think the starter wheel is over worn but it might be. But both engine, flywheel and starter box are second hand. Should the flywheel have teeth on the edge as it is quite smooth on mine and looks as if it might be worn. Any suggestions?
  9. Just a quick question: What Servo would be best. I have both a Turnigy 959 Coreless and a Power HD 9001mg. Which one to use for steering, which for throttle/brake. The Car is a Vapor Pro Nitro. I was thinking: Turnigy - Steering Power HD - Throttle Cheers, Greg
  10. I am after a Hump Pack or 2 with Charger. Not sure on the exact connector but my switch etc has the blue one pictured below. Please help and PM me with offers! Cheers, Greg
  11. Hi, I am looking for a Hump Pack and Charger for my receiver, the connections on the switch etc are as seen in the pic below (Just the blue one). Could someone tell me where to get a suitable charger and Hump Pack. Cheers, Greg
  12. Not 100% sure, got it second hand off Ebay. I believe the main differences are it includes 21 hop-up parts. More CNC bits and carbon. Oh and the price is alot different new!
