  1. Instead of using thread lock on the engine mount screws, use a spring washer. They lock when you tighten the screw and since I started using them have never had an engine screw come loose.
  2. Prices updated on original post- I won't consider any offers on these
  3. You shouldn't have to retune if it was fine on 13t. If you go too far up on the clutch bell go down on the spur gear.
  4. Hi, Selling my other halfs Sworkz reluctantly. Car is 4 months old and only ran twice so is in tip top condition. I'm including everything that came in the kit so wheels, oils, red option springs, roll bar set and rear hinge pin holders all included in the sale. Although not pictured, the wheel dust / mud covers will also be included. There will also be a shell included but it does look like it's ran every race meeting ever held in the last 4 months! I'm looking for
  5. 1. Alpha F850 with 2081 pipe, genuinely seen less than a gallon of fuel. Comes boxed with venturis, shim, springs etc. Fitted with OD97t plug.
  6. Just strip the clutch and check? It certainly would cause the engine to stall and should be a 2 minute job to check whether the spring(s) need replacing.
  7. Did you check the end points? You shouldn't need a massive amount of travel on the brake for it to function properly. If your transmitter has EPA or travel adjustment, reduce it until you just have enough brake. Same applies for throttle as well, you can have too much where it's almost pulling the carb off. You only need enough travel to so that the carb is open past the venturi. Any further travel is wasted.
  8. An alpha 2081 will do the job. It's the same pipe that is shipped with most alpha combo's
  9. The A852 is a revised S852 so shouldn't be too much difference between them. If you can get your hands on a manual for the two and see which parts are different, also any shop that deals with Answer RC should be able to find out the information you need. For plugs, the O'Donnell 97t is THE plug for that engine but they are getting hard to get hold of at the minute. Alternatively you can use an Alpha T3 or an OS P3.
  10. End of the line sale I think. As far as I'm aware they won't be getting anymore 30% fuel as it's not that popular so selling off the remaining stock.
  11. Hey Dan, I wouldn't get either, if you want to race on a budget get the SWORKz S350. If you're quick you'll get it at the reduced price of
  12. Lol? Yet another car you've had less than a month before deciding to move on..... Anyway, split the lot Scotty, you'll make much more that way. Not many takers on the 808 now as the xb9 has been released and it's going down a storm. As Garry said, full race setups sell for ridiculously low prices hence you need to split if you want to make some cash. I reckon youll be back to bashing a savage in a month though.......
  13. Hi, Here I have for sale my girlfriends HB D8. The car was bought about a year ago but has only been raced around 4 or 5 times and only on astro. It comes with the wheels that came with the kit, a pair of rear springs and a diff case. There are also some spare pistons in the box. There's also a 25t CNC steering servo horn attached. I'm after
  14. I've bought a spare wheel in the past for mine so they shouldn't be a problem to source. Might be worth contacting a model shop that deals with SMD to see what parts they can actually get hold of.
